"Did he have hands?"

"Did he have a face?"

"Then it wasn't us."

Oh damn, I always thought it was his wife. I need to go back and re-watch. Still a badass scene.

His dialogue with Omar is also awesome.

No. He got paranoid and wouldn't leave the woman's home. She tells McNulty - "He needs to go." He was burning his clothes so there would be no evidence for Nadine to catch him.

He was a drunk homicide detective, using his experience and training to cover up his own crime of adultery - hilarious and sad at the same time.

One gripe with the Wire. Entirely too much Mcnutty man butt. Man butt is the worst.

Bubbles also a very underrated character. His story is one of the best in the show.

He's one of my favorites. It's amazing to me how developed SO many characters were on a 5 season show.

I hated Clay also. Was hoping Stringer would take his arse out after losing that 250k.

But Clay was the ultimate hustler.

Dude who played Bubz acted like he was a real life addict.

On S4 of another re-watch. One of the few shows I can watch over and over

He kept on mumbling about having the woman's pussy smell on him, and that's how his wife was going to catch him. Pretty funny and disfunctional scene.

You mean "pussai". That's pussy plural.

While on location in an outdoor shoot in Baltimore, Royo (Bubbles) was once given (not offered for sale mind you, but handed) a packet of heroin by a passerby who was unaware of the filming, "You look like you need to fix."

He calls it his "Street Oscar".

but it is better on rewatch - White Mike, Nick, "Boris" - the interrogation scene I mentioned with Bunk and Freamon - there is a lot to like about it after you get over how different it was from Season 1.

I can't say it's my "favorite" - I still like Season 1 the best - but Season 2 holds up better than I thought.

I've rewatched season 1, but not the rest of the series. I felt i like season 2 better after i finished both that season and then the entire series. I still rank it behind 1,3 and 4. Still great, with some great moments and Bunk and Lester interogating those guys was priceless.

Nah, Bubbz is pretty universally one of the most beloved characters on the show. He's not underrated at all. Most people I've seen list his story as one of their favorites.

Should have clarified. He just hasn't been mentioned much in threads on here.

There's too many badass characters though to really pick one. Michael, Bodie, Freaman etc etc.

I honestly really didn't care for Marlo all that much. I know he was necessary but I just didn't like him. I also thought Wood Harris wasn't all that great as Barksdale. Elba straight up stole the show from him but I guess that was kinda a given.

Prez was sometimes terribly bad but I know that was also the point.

I was way more pissed when Bodie died than Omar.

I loved the way simon did Omar's death.

Me too, it's fits the narrative better than if Omer went down in a blaze of glory.

Like Lester said after Prez shot that cop, he got some bad luck. I felt so bad for Prez but that MF didnt belong on the streets or with a gun. Like how he succeeded in the 4th season.

Not a fan or Marlo or Snoop, but they were hard. I thougt Woood was good as Avon though.

One of my favorite scenes was the Sunday truce about a black lady crown.

And Slim Charles was cool as frick
