Well written. Really enjoyed the development of the four boys.
Chris and Snoop are great new characters.
But the season finale offered nothing in the terms of closure.
Are 4-5 considered a continuous season, story-wise.

I think Season 1 + 3 are a complete story.
Season 2 is a standalone story.
Season 4+5 are a complete story.
They intertwine in many parts and characters from each season pop up here and there. But for major plots that's how I saw them falling.

no
it's more like
1-3 = 3 act drama of amazingness
4 and 5 were essentially sequels that hit some similar high moments, but lacked the development of story and characters

They were exceptionally well developed.
I'll start 5 in a few minutes.

4 had some amazing character development, I thought.
They started to develop Chris a bit in his dealings with Mike's brother's Dad. That shite was personal. . .and he NEVER gets personal.
I hope they flesh him out a bit more in season 5. He could be so much more than a robot.

4 is the best of the series imo. 5 is the worst. But by "worst" I mean the 5th best of the series because that season is still better than almost anything on tv.

i loved four. there's a big drop off for a lot of people without avon & stringer, though.

This is my favorite season, I would say a lot of that has to do with the finale episode. Just watching what happens to each of the four boys and that final scene with Bubbles makes me want to
