It was not even Will's voice. He was doing Richard Williams right there. The slap was a rehearsed 'acting slap' where they both had their part to do and had obviously rehearsed it. Hell they both almost busted out laughing during it. They screwed it up just enough that Rock got actually slapped harder than he expected so that's the shocked look.
