I follow you, but I am often amazed at how art can have such an emotional
Impact. Whether it’s a song, painting, or a movie, when art evokes strong emotion I’m willing to go through it; even if it’s grueling.

Agree completely. Reminds me of a quote from the movie 'Contact'.

My preferences is to take in, mostly, positive, fun, action packed content, with some 'serious' stuff mixed in. Life by its very nature can be cruel and unyielding. I look to counter that where I can when it comes to my entertainment.
Part of the reason I have very little interest in horror/ slasher films.

How are either of these things “problems”?
Brandon Frasier is a good actor & his Oscar is a positive comeback story.
How do you not see that?

Watched last night on Amazon Prime. Wow. Absolutely brilliant performance. Depressing but his positive attitude was inspiring.
