I watched it all the way through and did find myself getting more aggravated as it went.

****semi-spolers from here out****

It was honestly more exhausting watching these "sleuths" try to pin it on everyone that had a 1% chance of being the watcher. How they would try to pigeon hole every "suspect" in and we, the audience, are supposed to pretend like there's not obvious holes in every theory. Anyone with a brain could see the "twists" coming a mile away...but most of all....

The biggest boogeyman of all is essentially that HOA's are outta control....

My wife loved it because she is a true crime nut

I thought it was stupid. I thought it would be better given the cast

I really didn’t see any twists. I took this as an unsolved mystery and the journey of the family trying to figure it out with wild theories.

It’s probably the shite that would go through your head when faced with the ordeal. Blood cults, mass murder, faked suicide, etc.

I also was extremely bothered that after the PI rules out the neighbors that she then points the finger at a kid who was probably not born or very very young in 1995 when the first letters started.

I also don’t recall when the neighbors husband died. Suddenly she is a widow and I must have gone to the bathroom or something when he died.

I still enjoyed the show, overall.

I think that was the point - the way the mind works when frightened, confused, emotional. Let’s face it, this couple doesn’t make the smartest decisions as their bankruptcy and horrible money management illustrates. Not a stretch to think they would have some holes when trying to figure this out.

They are grasping for straws with zero formal training at being detectives.

For sure. I get it. I just don't think it made for a great television show.

Yeah I thought that it was clear that none most of their "leads" and suspicions were supposed to have holes in it. They were mind-fricked and were acting accordingly. Maybe its because I knew the complete story going in, but I knew that they were never going to find out who did it. That is kind of the point to the story.

Was the real estate agent added in for the show or was she a real person of interest? To me she makes the most sense based on what I read. Although, what I read never mentioned a real estate agent being suspected. If she was a real person then she would have gotten the bits of information from her friendship with the wife. I just think she’s the most likely (in the show).

It’s fine. Keep watching. Not great. But not as bad as others saying. Only 7 episodes all less than 50 minutes. You don’t have much left to invest.

My wife and I loved it, until the last two episodes. Watched them last night. Its like they realized it was two episodes too long and just threw everything against the wall.

I read a super long, detailed write up on this story a few months ago. Wild stuff

I read this on the cut yesterday and I don't understand how turning it into a television show or movie was going to be any good.
Interesting story to read but I'm not sure how well it translates to screen.

Just finished. You could definitely do better with your time watching something else.
It was just meh. Not bad and not good. Pretty lame and many scenes just stupid. The black female investigator was the only good spot. Good actress.

I don’t regret watching but if I could go back in time I would have skipped it.

The meat of this show was excellent. The ending was all time horrible.

They already took enough creative liberty apart from the original story. Just land the damn plane and wrap up questions. Felt lazy.
