The whole 'already infected' thing isn't new.

They should have found that out when Rick and Shane were at that place with Randle, and they found those guys as zombies without scratch marks or bites.

Speaking of Lori being pregnant. What does her being infected with the virus do to her baby?
You have got to think being born will make that baby a zombie..

I doubt they go that route, would take the series from very gritty and dark to totally hopeless.

If they follow the route of the comic in season 3, it would be much worse than that.

Actually if they follow the route in the comics it would be totally awesome.
If the baby is a zombie that means there are no more babies ever, which means they are the last generation on earth. That pretty much cancels out the entire point of the series, which is Rick trying to keep his folks alive and retaining their humanity as best they can in a world gone mad. If there is no hope for a future at all, they might as well just throw big parties till they die.

Okay, I've only read the few posts on this page, and I'm already seeing shite like "I hope they go the same route as in the comics" and mentions of the fricking governor again.
I would like to post my thoughts about last night in this thread, but don't want to try to catch up on the thread if it's the same old bullshite with people talking about shite and dropping hints as to what happens in the comics.
For those who haven't read them...how is the thread? Basically, is it safe to read?

I haven't seen any straight spoilers in here for next season (though if you consider a character's name who has already been cast a spoiler, who the hell knows for ya). Not sure how anything could be spoiled anyway, as the second season barely followed the comics at all. But no spoilers from stuff that hasn't occurred yet that I saw.

Goof. I'll cross my fingers. And:

You'd be fricking surprised...

It's about like usual, but it doesn't look like any of it was done intentionally to prove how smart they are. And for the most part, if someone did feel it necessary to spoil something they put a disclaimer in their post.
I tend to share your sentiments regarding speculation and spoilers in these episode threads, so is it 100% safe, no. But it's about as close as you are gonna get.

Dont waste your time. I was posting until about page 11-12 and went to bed, got up this morning and started reading and of course, people are posting "spoilers". None of what I read was terrible in terms of giving away a lot of info, but I just dont understand why if you know something can you not post it in THIS thread. There is a spoilers thread for that.

Oh, and my thoughts on last night. For the record, I loved the episode, but there were definitely some WTF moments...
At the beginning, Lori hits someone with a "I'M NOT LEAVING WITHOUT MY BOY!!!" Why the frick not?...you haven't given a shite where he's been for the last few weeks, why start now? frick Lori...what a horrible mother.
Nonstop headshots in speedy, bouncing vehicles? Okay..
I really thought the barn was gonna explode, and I was glad to see it didn't. But I was 100% expecting it to.
I expect typical no reloading in movies/TV shows, but at least try. I know we see Herschel reload once, but watching him pump 10-15 shells out of that shotgun was insulting. Also the way he was holding/shooting it.
I guess the woods were nonstop covered in walkers? Andrea seemed to be running all night, but she was still being chased. Also, why even waste ammo on them...you know you can't kill even a marginal % of them, so just use your quickness and intelligence and keep moving while conserving ammo. Same with the walkers at the farm too, really. Seems like they should've just hopped in the cars and rolled out, and only used the guns on imminent threats.
Rick should've told people what Jenner said. Like I said last week, I respect him less for that. I don't care what his reasons were, that's definitely something people should know and could help them survive better/longer.
frick Lori so fricking hard. God she sucks. Why would she react like that to Rick killing Shane? Surely she can't be surprised or think he's lying...SHE'S the fricking one who told Rick how psycho Shane is in the first place...so now she's gonna not believe him, or act like he's an a-hole for killing Shane? Also, the way Rick explained it was weird too. But still, frick Lori. And the first thing Rick should've said when he said "Carl put him down.." was "..and what the frick was he doing out there? Why wasn't he in the fricking house with your stupid arse, Lori?" frick Lori...what a shitty wife.
Why wouldn't they siphon gas before heading out on a long trek to nowhere? And I know people were pissed that Rick never said anything, but they know they had to stay somewhere for the night so why would they question that decision? That was a weird scene...I guess they are showing us that Rick is changing.
Was that a prison at the end? I'm asking people who haven't read spoilers/comics at all to speculate.

So people bitched all season about staying on the farm, saying they needed to move on. I sure hope those aren't the same people excited about them going to a prison, which if stocked with food would almost never be able to be overrun by zombies.
Episode was great, Rick is the man, Darryl and Hershell know whats up. The rest can STFU or go get bit.

There aren't many people left on this board if you read these threads. I'm not saying anyone posted terrible spoilers that will make me not want to watch the show, but from reading this thread I know now what that building was, what the sex of the hooded person is, and what that person's name was. Someone did at least post a spoiler warning when explaining why that person had pet zombies. Again, these aren't huge spoilers, but it isn't something you'd know from just watching the show.

Don't think I could have said it better myself.
I am enjoying the show now finally, but at the same time have some problems with it.
Lori obviously is the biggest one.

I haven't got to read the thread yet, but has anyone mentioned the Helo?
I guess Rick wasn't hallucinating about seeing the helicopter in the 1st episode.
