That is the whole point Sneak. It isn't a "zombie" show. It and the GN are about the remaining people. In fact the title refers to the survivors.

Uh...season 2 finale was very similar to the comics. In fact it got it back to the comics since the first 80% of the season had nothing to do with them.

At its heart the Walking Dead is a Western. Its fitting the Prison is starting to look more and more like a fort.

I do like the zombies to be more a problem than they were last season but after finally catching up on the comic, I realize how great the show is/will be because of the human threat.

Yeah the show started out all about surviving the zombies and is slowly moving more toward survival against human threats with some zombie threat mixed in.
