I think it's obvious now that we know that Merle is returning, there will be some point where Darryl has to choose between Rick's Group and Merle. I think Darryl will first side with Merle but then realize that he's not such a stand up guy, even though he is blood. Darryl will be forced to kill Merle in defense of either himself or Rick and rejoin the group.

I think that Merle is in the town, and the guy in charge has made him some type of head of security/enforcer that is in charge of protecting the place. In return, Merle gets his pick of women, luxuries, ect...
Complete speculation (I've never even seen one of the comics). I think it would be cool, though.

Merle will reveal that he and Darryl are lovers, who were only acting as brothers due to rampant homophobia from Shane earlier on.
Darryl is now falling for Carol because of her short boy haircut and Merle will not be happy about that.
Tempers flair as these two lovers tangle in one final battle, in the end killing one another and embracing in death forever.

I remember at the end of season 2 they were out of gas and the prison was in the distance. What was the nlise they heard. Why did it take months to reach the prison. Lucky they were able to find gas along with a dodge truck. What is lori having.
Ah so many questions. The previews showed the governor asking andrea where her group was and they would try to reunite them. Prehaps its someone he sent out to look for them and the andrea michonne episode actually happened before the last prison episode but aired after it like in a pulp fiction type movie.
