As does Adam.
Blake has the folksy wit, but Usher has the R&B crowd and droves of swooning women.
I think Usher has the larger and more loyal fanbase. . .and he is promoting Michelle more than any other coach::contestant

Probably for Michelle since she has been really impressive lately.
Good thing for her is she broke out at the end instead of the beginning favorites who fizzled off.
Danielle has been pretty consistent the entire show though.

I'm with you here... except that unlike you said earlier, I think it's the country crowd that's watching The Voice and voting far more than the R&B crowd.
And people can vote multiple times and buy all the songs on iTunes, so it's not like the country artists are splitting votes either.

I think the best overall voice was Judith. She had tone, power, range, and technique. I think the show pumping the MJ thing hurt her.
It made many people think she was exploiting him, and others think she had an entitlement issue.
But as far as just vocals, Judith was way better than anyone in the competition. I think picking a Beiber song is always a terrible choice for a vocal competition. He does not sing vocally challenging songs, nor songs that exhibit one's vocal talent.
I think that is what hurt her.

Song choice means everything at this point.

In the end she lost out to the personality, too.

I don't disagree regarding Usher and Adam. I was just saying they all have a large fan base. I don't mean to turn this into a racial thing, but while he is iconic, how many African American folks are going to watch "The Voice" and go vote? So while his fan base is arguably larger than Blake's, it's not really going to help if half his fan base don't really care to watch or vote for a socially awkward rocker.

I don't really think Danielle lacks in personality.

But in the end, the 2 best voices were sent home.
I am still less upset than last year when Pope won. I was all about the scottish rocker. Every time he went through I thought "no way a power ballad singer is going through again". But that is a lost art, and in the end he lost to the generic personality.

I agree. Instead of letting her "be herself", Adam should have shut that down and made her pick another song. Judith screwed herself by singing it, Adam screwed her allowing her to do it.

I think Trevin had the best voice last season, but he started doing dance songs and crap like "Walking On Sunshine" and completely lost everyone.

This.
Even though Usher may have a larger fanbase (and I'd even say that's arguable...Shakira's would be #1 IMO...that chick is worldwide), R&B fans aren't as loyal as country fans IMO. And they're not gonna be voting like the country fans will IMO. So Usher "promoting" Michelle (and what does that mean anyway...throwing out a few tweets about her?) doesn't really equate to jack shite.
And to be honest, I don't really care who wins...I am not attached to any contestant really. If I had to pick a favorite of the live show finalists, it would've prolly been Kris Thomas, but he's gone. Of the ones left, I kinda dig the Swonn Brothers, but they're not gonna win it IMO. Like everyone not named Roaad has said, it's easily Danielle's to lose. As quirky and likable as Michelle is, she ain't winning shite. And Danielle has a much much MUCH more broad appeal to America than Michelle does, and Danielle certainly has a lot more personality than Roaad give her credit for. Keep in mind that Danielle can sing anything perfectly..she just happens to love country.

This is just a "different strokes" kinda thing. Has to be. Judith was good but not great...like I said, she was a backup singer for a reason. And she pales in comparison to the other backup singer on the show, Jermaine Paul. He was legit.
And I don't think Judith sucks, I just don't think she's at all what you give her credit for. Not even close, actually. And THAT is what hurt her more than anything IMO...though the song choice didn't suit her well, it's the fact that she's just not as good as the others at this point.

See, further proof that your opinions on this are very strange. Cassadee Pope was maybe more "marketable for mainstream" than Terry, but that chick could sing her fricking arse off though. You act like the only important thing at this point is personality, and you couldn't be more wrong.

I don't think Judith was any worse than everyone left not named Danielle. I think she's definitely better than Holly and probably better than the Swon brothers. She just chose a terrible, TERRIBLE song for her to perform this week. And she went first, which hurts her again.
And I really thought "Somebody That You Used To Know" would be a good one for Sarah, but she kind of butchered it.

Remember there a contestant that flat out said it's a strategic move to be on Blake's team. He takes care of his contestants on and it appears to be off the show as well.
Rae Lynn from last season is on his new single, the one he did last night. And he had another one of his former contestants sign with him in her place, so he does seem to do good work with his artists after the show.
Well, the country ones at least.
ETA: She was on the second season... oops.

We could see an all country finale on this show. It might be all country pretty fast.
O RLY? weird how that works huh?
Yeah, especially when the judges put so many of them (and good ones) in the competition. Funny how THAT works. AND, you don't disagree with who should have gone home. They're plain old better than the rest are. Just the way it is.

Amanda Brown was awesome...anybody know what she's up to these days?
Apparently, me and America didn't think she was the best on the show. As far as I know she blogs for Parade on the show and I guess she's still a backup singer. Maybe she and Judith can team up.
