No way in hell she wins. No personality, and talent is irrelevant.
She's a shy 16 year old girl with a great voice and America seems to love her. She's got a ton of potential and she's probably still the favorite to win.

quote:last year's winner started hitting her peak when she started singing country songs. the American idol runner up was a country singer and a mediocre country artist won a couple years ago. a country singer won the x factor over an exponentially more talented singer.
Roaad
country singers are the most loyal voting bloc on these types of shows

There is a reason why a country artist will never win The Voice. People who love country music do not watch shows like The Voice.
You realize it's been solely up to America for the last few weeks and they've chosen the umpteen country artists still alive (as opposed to people like Judith, Kris Thomas, etc...all pop or R&Bish singers) right?

Similar to the last few years, when you had some fresh great voices in the finals. . .and in the end we get the same generic voices winning as long as the packaging is good enough.

+1
There's a reason why Blake has won it twice already and he has a good chance of winning it again. He has a large, large fan base.

And it wasn't an insult, more of an observation.
Cocomo said basically the same thing, but in a far less emotional manner. Easier to respond to such.

Don't worry, I'm not insulted in the least. I'm entertained, if anything.

As does Adam. With that said, they don't exactly appeal to the masses as Blake Shelton does. While they are mainstream artists, the genre/culture that which they appeal to are very fair weathered.
While Blake is not as technical as some of the other coaches, he promotes them like crazy. Remember there a contestant that flat out said it's a strategic move to be on Blake's team. He takes care of his contestants on and it appears to be off the show as well.
