The Captain.
Where Tony nails Anabella on The Stugats, pan from the boat, to the Mercedes, fade to black.
Perfect.

Living on a Thin Line was Tracee's theme and then the closing for that episode (University, S3E6) as a new girl takes her place at the Bing (IIRC).
Yeah Living on a Thin line was in the episode with Ralph and Tracie.
When Tony baits Janice into getting mad after her anger management in front of Bobby and the kids and walks out is when "Im not like everybody else" plays as he walks down the sidewalk leaving their house and the credits roll. IDR the episode number.
Also, yes Gloria is in an early episode. The only thing I really liked about Many Saints was using Astral Weeks by Van, it somehow made it connect more with the series for me (even if the plot was way off base).

This, to me, is when they drove home how evil and psychopathic Tony was at his core. He could not stand for his sister to be happy. So he destroyed her in that moment.
Yeah he killed Christopher...but one could point to him viewing Christopher as a liability. And coming close to killing Paulie (on the boat) was also pretty dark, but again, that pointed to his paranoia.
Breaking down Janice in that moment when she'd finally seemed to turn a corner was just pure evil.
Brilliant show, brilliant character.

Beautiful song and extremely well used by the show. I had listened to a lot of basic stones songs prior but that def got me deep into their catalog. The show definitely put me on Van (I always assumed he was just that "Brown Eyed Girl" guy) lol was I wrong.

This Magic Moment at end of Sopranos Home Movies, when Bobby is hugging his daughter.

I always think of Keith Richards Thru and Thru(end of season 2) when I think of end of Sopranos episode songs. Beautiful.
That's what I was going to say. Great Stones track from the Voodoo Lounge album.

Tie between “My rifle, my pony and me” played after the episode that ends with Tony sitting with PieoMy in her stall when she colicked.
And whatever episode ended with Chuck Berry’s “Let it Rock”.

shite I forgot about "My Rifle, Pony, and Me"
I routinely find myself singing that to myself without thinking about it randomly every so often.
Wasn't there one episode without any ending credit song?

Only episode that I recall with no credits song was the last one when the screen went black.
cause I thought my cable had gone out and almost lost my mind. Then my buddy texted me “WTF” and reality set in. Still one of the greatest endings to any series I’ve ever seen.

I honestly think Tony both knew she was kinda full of shite with the anger management "breakthrough" and he saw Janice as Livia. Any chance he could to metaphorically get a win over his mother he took, and digging at Janice was a way to do that for him.
The fascinating thing about Tony, and really most of the characters in that show, is that you can either justify all their actions rationally or perceive them as pure evil, and both can make sense.
But back to the music, Chase clearly loved Van Morrison and the Kinks. The show introduced me to a ton of music and genres.

Undercover of the Night by the Stones is probably the first one I think of.
