I'd change terminator 3
I'd have made it not long after American History X came out, and still used Edward Furlong to continue his role of John Connor.
A terminator is sent back again, its purpose is not to kill John or Sarah. It looks just like a world leader at the time, who it has taken out. It's real purpose is to initiate judgement day. It is successful.
John loses Sarah in the chaos of the 2nd act and will navigate this inevitable future as he was always meant to. And it will not be easy.

GF3, which is good if you skip the Sofia scenes.
All three Star Wars sequels. At least with the prequels you can do the machete order.
Highlander II... so bad that III ignored its existence.
Speed 2... Apparently the studios are run by idiots that thought Sandra Bulluck was why people liked Speed.

Just popping in here to say that y’all need to put some respect on Alien 3. It’s arguably the second best on the franchise (and yes, I said arguably, not definitively, because of my love for A3).
It’s dark and gritty, which is what an Alien movie should be all about. The whole cat and mouse game they played to try to trap it was fantastic. Being set in a prison was also great and made for a great setting. Sure, Newt and Hicks dying off camera (off movie even) sucked, and the one gripe I do get is lack of Earth which was insinuated in the marketing. But all in all, Alien 3 is fricking great IMO.

I mean, Jar Jar, the Ewoks, bratty pod racer boy with a bad haircut, and even bringing the emperor’s dead body back can be worked around.
I didn’t like the idea of Palpatine returning. I mean, he fell down a chasm, blew up at the bottom of it, and then the space station he was in blew up too moments later. I mean, c’mon. Who survives that without being immortal?
But if we had to go that route, and Luke had been Luke, and Luke and Palps had the ultimate showdown at the end of TROS, it might could have worked.
The main thing’s getting Luke right. At least they got Vader right in other stuff.

I would change everything except the steeplechase scene.
I'd keep the Randy Quaid scenes too.

Hell man Namor was the only redeeming thing in that movie.
I understand d the point it was going for ( but fell flat at,). Namor was dope addition and the Mexican flavor was fine.

Judged as a stand-alone movie, I give A3 more credit. There were aspects of it that were great. For example, Ripley sacrificing herself rather than let them get ahold of a queen. That was a very fitting and powerful end for her character. I too also liked how they had to get creative without weapons to trap the alien. That was a thrilling sequence.
I just don’t like it as a sequel to Alien and Aliens. I understand that they were going for a bleak, hopeless, rock-bottom feeling by killing off Newt and Hicks, but that puts a very bad taste in my mouth from the get-go. Killing Newt essentially negates Ripleys heroism to save her in Aliens. Hicks was just a fantastic character and a great persona to play off Ripley. Not saying he had to survive, but not even giving him the dignity of an on-screen death was a bad move IMO.
But even beyond the plot line, it didn’t “fit” the feel of the previous two movies. It sounds like it did for you, but I guess I was just hoping for something different. Gritty, yes…but it was a different, quirkier kind of gritty.

There’s no question that the answer to this thread is The Last Jedi

Since I love A New Hope & Empire Strikes Back so much, I'd re-do Return of the Jedi to make it an equal-to/or-better-than the first two. Not a total re-do, because I ultimately like the end result of the 3rd act.
1. I would have made Luke a total badass, like he was in the Manalorian S2 finale. Nothing was really thrilling about Luke's skills at Jabba's palace or at the Sarlacc pit or on Endor or voluntarily givng himself up to Vader. Luke should've laid waste to Jabba's Palace and on his way to confront Vader/Emperor.
2. I'd definitely drop the wholly bizarre "twins" reveal. Lucas trying to duplicate another "shocking twist" was simply cringe-inducing. Ewww.
3. I'd edge up Saccharine Solo back to Scroudrel Solo, like he was in the previous two.
4. The Ewoks would be more viscious, as guerrilla fighters. The Ewoks vs Stormtroopers is mostly silly cosplay. I might've even scrapped them altogether and made it a Wookie planet/battle.
5. Boba Fett would be made a badass opponent to face while trying to rescue Han and Boba would have escaped so he could have a badass spin-off series like the Mandalorian's first two seasons.
