I’m so glad that Tommy Wiseau is a director and I love The Room so much.

I watched it the other day for the first time and don't get the hype. These "so bad they're good" movies don't appeal to me.

It's worth it if you watch the movie either drunk or high as shite cuz it might make you laugh. But if you don't, it'll make you cringe.

I agree...

But there's no real hype about the movie, it's just hype cultural response really and Tommy's strange background and story.

But there's watching at home and watching in a mystery science theater type of fans theater. That's the experience.

But you can watch Ed Wood and it's a great movie and then go back to watch Plan 9 from Outer Space and immediately feel like you're wasting your time.

Tommy claimed to be from New Orleans for a long time.

I never remember seeing him.

He lived in Chalmette, of all places.

Watching at the theater with all the shite that goes on is a must. The Prytania had two sold out screenings last week that were really rowdy. Spoons everywhere!

I would like to see that, I would, I would. Oh hai Froman.

So y'all leave during the five minute sex scene? And toss the ball oddly around?

Two sold out shows this past weekend in Nashville, and there are two more this upcoming weekend.

I just wish it was a monthly thing here and not just because The Disaster Artist is playing.
