Documentary premiers Feb 5th.

If you'd like a MUCH LONGER trailer (10 mins), below is what was originally created and then shopped to networks and streaming services when they were trying to find a "home" to air it...
It's a password protected Vimeo vid. Click this https://vimeo.com/259967065 and then put in password parish180321

Looks good.
Surprised this got picked up though.
White knight cleaning up the dirty corruption of New Orleans East, a black female doctor handing out Rx to a line of drug dealers for cash, New Orleans police acting as her security force and protection.
This is a Nic Cage movie...too crazy to be a documentary.

Im very interested to see this. If he was the actual catalyst that blew the lid of the opioid crisis that makes even more interesting

I'm glad this is getting the attention it deserves. As always, so sorry about your friend. Thanks for sharing.

Don't think he started it nation wide, but at least in Metro NOLA, He was a key figure.

Just finished it and thought it was awesome.

Just finished it, myself.
I think it was amazing. Told the story as truthful as I know it to be without any "Hollywood liberties".
Quite emotional for me. I could feel Mr. Danny, Mrs. Annie and Kristi's pain just as I did all those years ago on the day Little Danny was murdered.

Thanks for sharing I probably would have skipped over this if I had not known it was about a Louisiana Pharmacy. So sad how drugs and addiction is handled in this country.

I believe this was also covered in a long form news story some years back. I’ve read this story before somewhere, glad to see it get the documentary treatment

Sorry for your loss man.
I was shocked to find out several years ago that my small town of Natalbany had a huge Oxy and heroin problem.
Seems like shite is getting worse everyday.
ETA: Just finished Episode 2.
Mr Danny needs a dump truck to carry around those balls of his. Awesome guy!

I think I literally gasped when he started playing the actual tape recordings of police officers talking to him. My man had the receipts

Really well done. I appreciate that they touched on Danny's seemingly obsessive behavior and how it intruded on his family life because, for a while there, I was worried about his mental wellness. He was taking on a lot for a grieving father.
Danny seems like a super cool guy to shoot the shite with....smart, great personality, humorous...just as long as you accept you're probably being recorded
