And of the 20 eliminated by other universes, 6 are U7 characters. Heck if you look at order of elimination, Basil gets the first elimination, then U7 eliminates the next 14 characters, followed by U6 eliminating the next 7, then U7 for 3, etc. You don't get the next elimination not by U7 or U6 until the 30th.

Clearly every other universe has been nothing but filler, which is disappointing.

hmm...Gohan was eliminated by Freiza and 18 and Roshi kind of sacrificed themselves.

But yeah that is the biggest disappointment in this whole saga. What is the point in introducing 12 universes if you are only going to focus on 3 and make everyone else just filler.

This could have easily been a 4 universe tournament and most of the fleshed out ideas could have still been in there.

What an incredible episode, especially for Vegeta fans..

Learned quite a bit tonight...Toppo was confirmed by narrator as no different than other GoDs in power...which means, Vegeta is now clearly stronger than a destroyer

Vegeta is incredibly powerful now and still basically can't land a punch on Jiren who now seems pissed off an is going to actually power up. Don't see how he is beatable unless there maybe a fusion ultra instinct.

well, Jiren could obviously mop the floor with all 4 fighters right now...but did Frieza resurface from that last blast?

Could you imagine Jiren knocking out the other 3 with like 30 seconds to spare then fails to find Freiza's unconscious body in the wreckage? (Can't just destroy everything for fear of getting eliminated)

It is almost like they made it a point not to show Frieza at the end.

Yeah if Jiren killed Frieza, he would have been DQ'ed. So obviously he's still alive.

If he had been eliminated, we would see him in the stands. So he has to still be in ring.

He is most likely stalling as he knows he can't beat Jiren.

From the preview, No. 17 goes all out on Jiren. I wonder if that is to buy Goku and Vegeta time to do the fusion dance. We have seen Vegeto Blue. It would be pretty awesome to see Gogeta Blue.

Vegito would be a Potara fusion. Fusion dance would be Gogeta, but Vegeta doesn't know the fusion dance. Unless he learned it off screen.

At this point, I don't see how they beat Jiren without fusion.

Also, anyone notice they said only 4 minutes remaining?

Over/under on how many episodes this takes.

I say 2.5 episodes easily. No way they end the tournament on the next episode. So next is No.17 getting eliminated, then Goku/Vegeta pull out their trump card, followed by the finale.

I wouldn't be surprised if this gets more ridiculous than Freiza's 5 minutes before Namek explodes.

They have stated that episode 131 is the last episode of the arc, then they will shift their focus to the movie coming out in December.

Jiren will eliminate 17 and Vegeta but he and Goku will eliminate each other. Universe 7 wins since Jiren will forget about Frieza’s unconscious body on the side of the ring.

Probably because he hasn't trained in like a decade. No reason to make him into an elite fighter just like that.

I do wish this arc didn't have U6/U7/U11 eliminating everyone. I wish we had fights between the other universes and not just the actual main guys.

Sooo....Jiren is a little bit Luke Skywalker, a little bit Bruce Wayne, and a little bit Caine from Kung Fu??? And he basically couldn't give a shite less about the pride troopers....and we still don't know how he got so damn strong...unles ,maybe he is like thousands of years old, just think about how strong Goku would be in another 300-400 yrs...

They say his goal is ultimate strength, but isn't that Goku and Vegitas too?? That's all those guys live for and it's built into their genetics. And we still don't really know Jiren wish and we still don't really know how he can talk to Belmod psychically.

And as for 17, hell he's been the best pure fighter out of the entire U7 team followed closely by Vegeta....very impressive. And Frieza seems now to be a much weaker character than before.

Even without looking at spoilers it's obvious that fully mastered UI (offense and defense) Goku is coming and he and Jiren will fight to the finish. I just wish there was like 8 or 9 more episodes left and not 3 or 4 ...the timing on all this seems very weird. Even with the tourney ending, there's so many new characters it could easily go another year. Hopefully it's Just a hiatus though.

Remember when we were pumped for Frieza in the ToP because he was the best villain in the show? Man he looks like garbage now. He clearly is incredibly weak in a straight fight. He was out classes by the top 3 of the Pride Troopers, and he is probably maybe top 5 in the Z fighters. No. 17 would likely mop the floor with him and probably Gohan as well (if nothing else they would be on par).

And if no one noticed, this entire episode apparently only took a minute. We started with 4 minutes left, and now are at 3.

I liked that we got some of his back story for Jiren, but now I feel like he is Batman. The dude also no sells harder than Goldberg.

I was not pumped for Frieza. Resurrection of F was a disappointment to me. The TOP has redeemed him imo. He is a far more compelling character than Buu would have been.

Sucks that Vegeta fell, but I can’t wait to see Ultra Instinct Goku.

I'm disappointed we didn't get Vegito or Gogeta. I get that fusion, for some, is played out. But man Vegito Blue is such a fun character.

Oh and two minutes left. Which continues the idea that each episode takes place in a minute. I would be interested to see someone speed up one of these episodes so that it actually only takes a minute.

The closer the end gets, the more I think it's going to be a cliffhanger ending.

The UI/Jiren fight will last at least 1 full episode and may he part of the finale.

Then whoever wins gets the wish and we don't get anything after that? Sounds very unlike normal archs where at least 3-4 episodes of post arch wrap up stuff happens.
