Damn this last episode had so much of a nostalgic feel to it. Seeing Roshi straight up slay and Goku tear up. One of the best episodes of Super so far.

maybe. I think it would have been more impactful if Roshi actually died but it was nice seeing some emotion out of Goku for once.

Absolutely loved this episode. It was great to see Roshi schooling the younger fighters using those old school Dragon Ball attacks. Very emotional episode too. Seeing Goku and Krillin react so strongly was awesome.

That really was a gem of an episode. Lot of callbacks to the DragonBall days. Wonder if Tien will get an episode of his own as well

I've only seen like 2 or 3 episodes of the original Dragon Ball, but after last night I think I'm going to go back and watch the episodes. Roshi is the fricking man, and I'd love to see him in his "heyday" of Dragon ball.

The Actual emotion shown by Goku and Krillan was great.

I also find myself more and more liking the Japanese voices so much better than the English Dub. Just imagine that stupid old man voice in the US version with Roshi last night. Doesn't have near the same resonance. I'm even starting to come around on Goku's voice. The American and Japanese versions of him are really just so much different.

Goku New form will debut on either september 24th or on october 8th, probably at the end of the episode, October 8th is a double episode week.

Not really. We're over 100 episodes into Super, and there's only 2 new "forms" so far. The first was introduced in a movie to kick start the new series. The thing I have a problem with is the power levels of some of these mortals.

Power levels are bullshite...

and how many times is Goku going to let his guard down and refuse to go super saiyan blue to get out of the bind.

What was that, his fifth time since the TOP started?

That's what I've been doing recently. I had never seen them before but people kept on saying again and again how good Dragon Ball was. Here's a good link to use that has high quality Dragon Ball episodes. Its the dubbed version at least.

Just watched the latest DBS dubbed version. It looks like they're taking the series back to the Dragon Ball roots with the humor and light-heartedness of everything.

Watching Dragon Ball and now seeing DBS really makes one realize how serious DBZ got over the years. I still like DBZ immensely, but it was definitely a much different series from Dragon Ball and Super (so far at least for the dubbed series).

Reminds me of some previous Piccolo run-ins with Bulma and Chi-Chi.

Without reveling too much, I'm just going to say that a full, 60 minute special with a REALLY big fight is coming in early October.

Spoilers are out there and so are some new images that look incredible. It should awesome.

I'm thinking the "real" enemy is revealed after the 1 hour special.

When Goku's new form was leaked, it said something terrible is going to happen. I'm definitely thinking outside influence or corrupt angels.

Yeeesh... Last night's episode was rough...

I know they had to get rid of Tien, but the universe 2 guys were possibly the laziest and worst characters I've very seen in a dragon ball episode.

It does feel though that next week begins the ramp up to the big one hr fight. Frost is doing soemthing and it looks like Roshi might actually die.
