Finally an episode that seemed to have some gravity to it. This really should just be a battle between all of the principles a la the Cell games. Next week looks to be more filler but even Universe 7 needs to start losing some folks. Problem is that unless they go full GOT and eliminate Goku out of nowhere leaving it to Vegeta or Gohan, we all know that it's going to be Universe 7 vs 11 vs 6 by the end of the arc. Only real question is how the finale goes down and what happens after with the angels, Zen-O, and all the erased Universes (will they stay erased or will the winner wish them all back with the super dragon balls)

I mean we just had an episode with Goku and Hit teaming up and only one person got eliminated...
There are still 35 minutes of the tournament left so I assume they are going to milk this shite for everything it is worth.
I expect 30 more episodes to whitle down the cast to just Hit, Goku, Gohan, Jiren, and Toppo
Then probably 10 episodes for the last 5 minutes because nobody owns a watch.

Geez, I am watching the dub episode where Vegeta and Goku "explain" the battle of the universes to Krillin and they're wasting roughly 5 minutes of this episodes just explaining what just happened in the previous episode. Does this happen often? The episodes are only 20 minutes and here they are just killing 5 minutes to tell us what we already have seen/know. I feel cheated when they do these "recaps". Just make people watch previous episodes damnit and stop wasting my time.

It's been a pretty meh arc so far considering the high concept. It's either going to end predictably with Universe 7 beating 11 and Goku beating Hit and then wishing all the Universes back witht he Super Dragon Balls OR it could take a turn with the remaining fighters (I'd guess Toppo, Jiren, Dyspo, Hit, Vegeta, Goku, Gohan, Frieza, and Frost) challenging the Grand Priest and the Angels somehow.

IIRC the dub skipped a bunch of the filler episodes that took place between the Frieza and Champa arcs.
Did anyone else notice Android 18 having a... different voice in that flashback, too? Really hope they haven't fricked with the voice acting for the Androids.

I believe it was Krillin impersonating 18 during that sequence. At least I hope so

This has kind of been my theory for a while now. I could also see the grand priest somehow overthrowing Zeno and take over the mutliverse then Goku, Hit, Toppo, Jiren, Gohan, Vegeta, and possibly Beerus, and Champa all take on The Priest and a few of the Angels.

There's no way in its original form this could be a kid's show. The first 4 episodes are at the least mature content with as many genital/sex references they include and its not like they just threw them in there either.

I hope you're watching it subbed because the dub removes a lot of the funny dialogue.
