I know this bothers some people but I really didn't notice. There's so much difference from the goofy shite I watched as a kid on Toonami to the uncut subbed versions to Kai I didn't even notice animation style anymore.

So. Looks like the All-Universe Tournament of Power is starting really soon....
I wonder if the commercial screen had anything to do with the 10 warriors chosen to represent Universe 7, because I think it would be interesting to see that lineup in the tournament:

But Goku's stupidity drives me insane. In Super, He is dumber than the TeamFourStar Goku.

Goku is voiced by a woman,she also voices 4 or 5 other characters too. I find her extremely annoying, but I just power through.
I'm 73 episodes ahead of the dub, and the arc that just started looks like it could arguably be the best arc since Frieza and Namek. I'm really glad I didn't wait.

I couldn't wait anymore. I am completely caught up. I am so excited about this tournament. Buu's fight was actually pretty awesome.

Super is really disappointing so far (I started with the dubs). Them stretching the movies into arcs is horrible. It's so slow and we already know what happens. What is the point in this? The two movies are what reunited people's interest in the series and sparked Super. Clearly people saw them. Why drag them out like this now?
I know it gets better once these arcs are done, but it's been painful to get through.

For those of you who haven't seen the latest episodes of Super.
I agree. Basil was pretty tough against Buu. I can't imagine Gohan improved any since he went full on scholar and quit training. Maybe he got in a little training before this tournament, but I'd expect a big regression for his fighting power. However, he is Gohan. We'll see.

Not to mention, Gohan or Goku would have been killed by having a hole put through their chest. Buu is damn near invincible.
Once again on this episode the title screen showed the same 10 people. And it isn't like they are the most famous people on the show. Have we seen 17 at all since the Buu saga?

I own the movies and have played the Xenoverse games (Resurrection, Battle of the Gods), so I'm at least that far.

No, the last we saw of him was when he was helping give Goku energy for the Spirit Bomb against Kid Buu.
Interesting though, cuz 17 is in this picture from the intro.
Wasn't it announced that Zeno picked the fighters from each universe, or did I misread?
