I wouldnt disagree with that. also wouldnt disagree about Vegeta being more of a family man.

its just weird how much time they spend to only allowing Vegeta and Goku to do anything of importance in the show (minus Gohan vs Cell). most great animes allow almost all their characters to carry weight and contribute to stories.

so much potential in so many characters.

No. I want to, but I've already spent way too much money on Dragon Ball collectibles

I know if I buy one, I'll Frick around and buy them all.

Forget about buying all of 'em because this one goes for over $1000 on Ebay right now.

Do you have any of the Viz mangas? It's ridiculous that they've had the license since 99 and STILL haven't had an unedited release.

Anybody know a good site to watch Dragon Ball?

I've got a decent site now that has every DBZ, GT, and every Super episode so far (subbed and both dubbed so far), and all the movies as well. No DB though for some odd reason.

Almost done rewatching Buu saga and since there's only 2 dubbed episodes I'd like to watch DB because I've never seen it all the way through.

Me too. I was so excited when I saw dragon Ball z on there, but I don't think I've ever been more disappointed than when I saw it was only subbed. Kind of like how Netflix only has subbed Attack on Titan

So. Should we start a super English dub Toonami thread? Or just keep everything here?

I haven't watched super yet and I don't want to sift through spoilers.

Watching Episode 3 now. I am really liking Beerus

Are there no spoilers then for this thread? Saw an article today about a very interesting Saiyan development for the new Japanese episode

Yeah I did. And I saw Resurrection of F. But that doesn't change what I said.

It would be fun to have a first time dubbed Toonami watch thread with no spoilers.

There are spoilers all over this thread. A bunch of people watched the subbed version already. I made it a few episodes, heard they were doing a dub with the original voice actors on Toonami and patiently waited for that day to come. So I've largely ignored discussion about the show.

hmm I don't like the super animation. Looks so much worse than before, and it's a bit too weeb for me. I loved the old DBZ though.

How do yall feel about them starting Super directly after the events with Majin Buu?

Honestly I'm a little disappointed. I really think it should have picked up after the World Tournament 10 years later when Uub showed up. I really really wanted to see Uub's character develop and see him train with Goku. I just finished rewatching the whole Buu saga to get ready for Super so it was a little wtf seeing Goten go from teenager to little kid again. And I feel like there is too much room for potential plot holes doing it this way. For example roughly 10 years after Goku discovers Super Sayain God and battles the God of Destruction he's supposed to have trouble with a 10 yr old boy that hasnt even learned to fly and has zero training?

And where is Battle of Gods/ Resurrection of F supposed to fit into this time line? Only watched episode 1 so far so Beerus isn't to Earth yet, but he meets the Z fighters for the first time in Battle of Gods so I'm curious to see how they handle that in the show.
