17 and 18 are fighting in the tournament.
I hate that Roshi and Tien are fighting. Would have rather seen super bring back golden Frieza and perfect cell, with both being held in check by Beerus.

I think it has to do with those characters being dead. They could have brought back several other characters to fight in place of those guys.

Gohan has been shown to be training with Picollo. He is still nothing compared to Goku or Vegeta but he's probably as strong as he was against Super Buu

Precisely. All named after alcohol. Like a lot of other Dragon Ball characters are named after food.

The episode preview for episode 81 came out and basically it's Goku vs the Main Wolf guy and the deal is that if the Wolf guy wins then the King of All won't destroy all the universes in the tournament that lose
