Yes and no. It's fun to watch, but the animation is abysmal at times. Especially fight scenes.
Plus, it has the standard DBZ filler we all know and love.

It can be kinda bad at times. The fight scenes in general are missing some of the epic feel that DBZ had. Maybe it's because they've kept the fights succinct and not dragged out with hours of screaming?

Just finished all 291 episodes of the original dbz. First time watching since I was a kid so I forgot pretty much everything so man watching that again was great. I've seen this thread a few times but have yet to read through it...couple questions
1. I was going to watch GT next before super but some have told me it's better to not even watch GT as its not very good. What do y'all think?
2. What is the general consensus on super so far?

GT is alright for what its worth. The Series starts off very slow and cartooney/childish.
I wish that the Super 17 saga was longer.
And the end of the very last episode is a tearjerker.
DBGT: A Hero's Legacy was very good IMO.

I really don't want to have to wait for super to be dubbed. For anybody that has only watched the dubbed version and is now watching super subbed how was the transition? Watched the first episode and it was definately different
