its good dont get me wrong, but i feel like they waste so much time on stupid shite and throw out random stuff that doesnt even make sense. like putting the picture next to the dead guys dick. ok we get it.

So seeing a dead dudes dick has gotten you up in arms?

quote:

also the DA. that chick looks like a man and might be the worst actress since Leslie Jones. i feel like she is a cousin or family member of the writer. i cant imagine her in the audition for that role and everyone just looking at each other saying "OMG we found her".

Maybe they were trying to go for a realistic angle. This isn't L&O or CSI where the DA is some mid-20's blonde or redhead.

like someone said, its still better than 99% of crap on TV, however it had so much potential after the 1st episode

Again, IDK what you people were expecting after the actual crime. It's like you are hoping for some mystical cult group to be behind this crime. When that isn't what the series is about (I'd recommend reading a few of the reviews on the BBC series Criminal Justice).

After the pathologist made the odd request to "put it down there", the female DA did several double-takes before deciding NOT to cover the dick with the photo. That's pretty true to life. Some men will play games like that, and some women will react like that to show they're not intimidated, particularly those in positions of power.

Which is probably one of the reasons why she made him repeat his statement about whether or not this was a cut from glass or from the murder weapon.

I'm thinking he didn't murder her. I think he gets acquitted of the murder, but then convicted of grand theft auto after his dad'd partners press charges. Then he spends some time in prison with Freddy, and is completely fricked up because of his experience.

This show is great and I love it. The only thing that I find hard to believe is Nas becoming hard as frick in the clink. Come on, man.

Yeah his whole stand in front of the TV and wait for someone to start shite was pretty stupid. He would take his protection from Freddy but certainly wouldn't be looking to make more enemies at the same time

1. Duane Reed can be a weird place late night.

2. I actually like the show a lot. I like the fact that it explores all of these different angles.

Also, was the "Duane Reed" name coincidence really necessary?

I laughed at this part so I'll allow it

Well Naz stabbed her hand once then she was stabbed brutally 21 times. Same amount

Naz was also enraged by the slur of being called a fig after hesitantly hitting him once then leaving only to attack him again 21 more times.

Naz was called a racial slur by the two men just before entering Andrea's house and hesitantly stabbed her hand before the drugs kicked in.

I'm still enjoying the show, but it is getting a bit heavy handed with its message concerning the our justice system

Me too. But that would take balls that Nas does not have. Sorry you don't flip the switch that quickly

What message are you getting from the show concerning our justice system?

preconceived guilt, turning innocent people into violent people, lack of empathy, corruption, greed, etc...

and other ways I think this show is headed

basically everyone involved with the case will know he is innocent but the last scene is him being convicted for life

How is it commentary on the US justice system when the show is a remake of a British show? It seems like there's very little difference in the two shows.

I don't have a problem with the message it is sending about our justice system.
