There is too much money still to be made. 1,2, or even 3 more movies possibly on deck

They wont be able to sustain anything like TDK past the next movie. Nolan will leave if he hasnt already, and someone like MCG will take over and replace Bale with someone like Mario Lopez.

I wont give any movie in this incarnation a shot unless its done by Nolan. If anyone else takes over the magic will be lost.

Depends on who they get. McG? Yeah, it's over. Fincher or Liman? The game is still on.

Casting Debo as Bane would be an awful step down from Ledger's Joker

I really don't think we need to worry about that happening.

He fits for sure. I could go with that, being normal for a good part of the movie and then he transforms into Bane once he gets on the juice... Then its ON. He could break the bat and put a tragic end to a great time in the movie batman's life.

Me and my buddy were talkin the other day about how we thought Philip Seymour Hoffman would be really good to possibly portray The Penguin as the next villain...

I think the penguin is a character that could definitely be humanized, and if u watch Hoffman in Mission Impossible 3, i think he plays the villain extremely well... he's cold, unforgiving, and just fricking evil in that movie... Everybody would just have to get past his "sharting" and "white lightning" scenes from "Along Came Polly"...

What yall think?

Bardem wouldn't work. People would just think of Chigur everytime they see him.

Deebo would be a good fit.

Here is a little interesting tid bit i just found on batman-on-film. the site usually has very solid info.

6:42 AM TEXAS TIME: One of my old TDK insiders emailed in overnight to give us her/his insight into the use of Robin and Catwoman in BATMAN 3. This very in-the-know person says it's very unlikely that Chris Nolan would use Robin or Catwoman in a potential sequel. "The only way [Nolan would use Robin or Catwoman] is if Warners demanded it -- and if they're smart, that won't happen," says our gal/guy. She/He also informed us that the "cats" comment made by Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman) to Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) meant absolutely nothing -- it is simply a tongue in cheek remark and nothing more. And one more thing, the "Mr. Reese = Mysteries" thing? Nothing there to see, time to move on...
