The Most Emotionally Charged 10 Minutes Ever in a Movie

Rocky 2 was on TV just now, and I think that the 10 minutes of time when Adrian wakes up from her coma and tells him to “Win”, Mickey screams “Well what are we waiting for?”, and Rocky trains and has the kids follow him through downtown Philly, has to be the greatest 10 minutes of a movie ever. It honestly makes you believe you can do anything. After I see that I always want to get up and take a 10 mile run, that is until I realize I would probably die after the first 200 yards.

That just makes me glad to have been born in 1980

"Yo Adrian, I can't believes you done this...yuse really done good Adrian, yuse done good." (On having a baby.)
They make Rocky a total retard in Rocky 2. I mean at least in Rocky he had street smarts and spoke semi-coherent English...
In Rocky 2 he doesn't even know where babies come from.

The first scene in Inglorious Bastards was tense as hell when I first watched it..

The escape scene in Room is the first thing that came to mind.

When Holdo stayed on the bridge and sacrificed herself by ramming the First Order’s ships at light speed, allowing the resistance ships to escape...
I still get goosebumps.

An underrated scene. Kirk listening to his son being born while waiting to die is intense.

I always found it to be over the top dramatic and cheesy. Extremely over staged.
