We are getting Mando season 3 right?

I want to say they’ve already started filming

Mandalorian is Disney+’s cash cow. Investors will be pissed if they end this show in the next 2 years

No, but they did say Mando season 3 comes out Dec 2021, so make of that what you will. I doubt they are releasing 2 shows next Christmas.

Great season, I am not sure where they go since Mando turned over Grogu (

I think it’s pretty obvious where they take the show. Mando has the dark saber, he has a gang of arse kicking female mandalorians and he has an imperial light cruiser. They are going to reclaim Mandalor. The way they set that episode up, they don’t have a choice. It would make no sense for him to go back to collecting bounties in season 3

I think they made it pretty clear Bo Katan was going to want to frick him up for that saber. I don't expect them to be on the same team at least not next season.

She doesn’t necessarily have to frick him up for it. It’s quite possible he loses it to another villain and she ultimately claims it by defeating that villain.

Also, I read a few pages back about the disappointment in Mando not giving him the knob. IMO the knob represented a child’s toy. It was Grogu’s toy to be exact. Tossing him the toy at the end would have made no sense. He’s off to do big boy shite and train with the most powerful Jedi in the galaxy. The time for toys was over. It would have been like tossing a soldier a teddy bear as he departs for basic training.

I'd honestly never seen her.

I can't blame you for not remembering her. She was on the Jedi Council in The Phantom Menace when they were droning on about trade negotiations.

My preference would for them to carry on as if the sequels never happened. Just release Star Wars Episode VII: New Jedi Order. And when some nerd reporter asks what happened to The Force Awakens reply, "we don't know what you are talking about."
::Jedi mind trick wave:: These are not the sequels you're looking for

I just finished Mandalorian and it was great. I have never seen any of the Star Wars movies (I know, I know), but I'm going to start tonight. I'm pumped.

What order should I watch them in?
-Original trilogy
-Rogue One
-Prequel trilogy
-Solo
-Clone Wars animated series
-Rebels animated series
-Pretend the sequel trilogy never existed

Clone Wars is better than Solo and the prequels sans Revenge. The final 3 episodes of Clone Wars rivals RotS. The better arcs in Rebels are better than Solo as well. Twilight of the Apprentice and Twin Suns are great stories.

Imagine the chips are down and The Mandalorian and his team are defeated and near death. The small metal ball falls out of his pocket and rolls across the floor to a stop. It begins to shake, then rises from the floor slowly before floating motionless. It zips through the air out of the camera frame. Cut to a small green hand holding the gear shift knob. Camera pulls back to reveal Grogu, Ahsoka, and Luke Skywalker. Skywalker and Ahsoka activate their lightsabers, Grogu closes his eyes and extends his free hand forward...

What up Favreau?! Nice of you to join us. Thanks for rocking our fricking worlds yesterday.

Boba Fett tracked down Han and the Millennium Falcon after they evaded the Empire and no one else could find them.

He's a bounty hunter who was being paid by Vader and the Empire. I hope he would be able to accomplish this undertaking.

Vader also clearly respected him, while simultaneously murdering his senior officers for disappointing him.

Respected? Fett did what he was hired to do. I don't see behavior from Vader that would insinuate that. Vader was quite short with Fett in their brief conversations surrounding Han. Fett also tries to fire at Chewy during Han's carbonite freezing scene and Vader lowers Fett's blaster before he could.

Fett gets knocked into the Sarlac Pit, presumably dead since RotJ, in the most ridiculously comical manner possible and he's a well respected badass, ok. We get to that conclusion because of him tracking the Millenium Falcon and standing around in a bunch of scenes. Got it.

I get it, Boba always looked cool and badass, but was there really anything that we saw that would confirm that he was a legit badass? At least in the way they made him look in The Mandalorian?

And yet none of the others, nor the Empire could.

Yes.

Of course, this assumes that you've seen Star Wars and understand the characters.

It's more about what he doesn't do.

He kills anyone who makes mistakes, and those are loyal officers who presumably have years of excellent service to the Empire to be in their positions.

Boba Fett gives him sass, and Vader responds by telling him he'll still be compensated if Vader kills his bounty.

So... CG Luke makes an appearance, but was that his voice or did they use a stand in for that as well?

I don't watch, but I heard wasn't Mark Hamill.

If not, why couldn't current day MH lay the voice work ? This is the Luke he said he wanted to play, right?

You could see now that Vader knew who Boba was after he spent years with the clones who were exact replicas of him. He knew he could trust boba to get the job done.

Mark Hamill’s current voice sounds wayyy different than his voice from the original trilogy. If they did use MH’s voice, they had to do a lot of extra audio work to get it to sound like his voice from 40 years ago
