I ain't gonna lie. When I saw the Red Squadron X-wing, my pants got a little tight, but I didn't want to believe and be disappointed. When I saw the green saber ignite and the gloved hand, I went directly from six to twelve and he hadn't put down the first Dark Trooper yet. When he crushed that last one with only the Force, I called my doctor immediately because that boner was gonna last more than four hours.
Favreau and Filoni took a giant shite on the sequels and what they did to that character. He was an unstoppable machine.

Good question.
Also, I absolutely love the reluctant Mando now owner of the dark saber. And him removing his helmet for the kid. That sets things up nicely for next season without the kid as a main piece and creates real, tangible conflict.

I just want a season of Luke training the child. Explore some Jedi lore. Lift some heavy stuff. Talk to some force ghosts. Maybe introduce some hallucinogenic drugs that cause you to have bad dreams.

He’s going to take bounty jobs, go kill some creatures, deal with traitorous scumbags, and kill them all in spectacular fashion....everything we get in the Mandalorian. I’m going to watch it regardless, but if I had a preference they’d be firing up a show on somebody else next December instead of Boba.
That's kind of the beauty of calling the show "The Mandalorian", though, isn't it? There are LOTS of Mandalorians they have available to tell stories about. Nothing says "The Mandalorian" has to always be about the one particular Mandalorian they started with. Personally, I think it would be an interesting take to kind of do it as more of an anthology about Mandolorians and just follow a different story arc each season that ties in with the over-arching story. Sort of like "Justified" and the villian of the season concept, but with a different Mandalorian in the spotlight instead each season.

Why does Bo Katan have to kill Din for the Dark Saber? Can’t she just beat him like he beat Moff without bloodshed?

Does she know about Vader/Anakin and his relationship to Luke?
The name SKYWALKER is the giveaway.
She knows who Anakin Skywalker is, and sees a man much younger than her that is just as powerful if not more so.
Remember Bo Katan is approaching 50 in the show.

Something everyone has been thinking about is whether or not Grogu was part of Luke's academy during its destruction by the Knights of Ren. But, that takes place about 20 years after this episode. Its hard to imagine that Grogu is not a fully trained Jedi knight by this time.

She can’t beat him. The thing that doesn’t make sense is she came into possession of the dark saber via Sabine giving it to her. Why its different now I don’t know.

I’m asking if The Book of Boba Fett will be its own show or if it’ll be The Mandalorian: The Book of Boba Fett for season 3. It’s a legitimate question as it’s premiering December 2021 which is when Mando season 3 is returning.

Not sure if they have come out with it yet, but its only logical. They still have a major Mandalorian thread running, despite the Grogu mission being completed.
Din has the Darksaber, this will push the story to Mandalore eventually. Gideon’s actor has mentioned being in Season 3.
Boba going back to Tatooine seems very distant from all this. There have been rumors of him having his own spinoff for a few months now.

Mando S3 has specifically been slated for Christmas 2021. I don’t think they’d just say December for the Boba show if the date had already been chosen.

Fair enough. Just didn’t see them running two SW series during the same time because of subs.
