They continue to use BC as Colorado locations and it looks stupid. Jamestown is a steep canyon town, idk why but it bothers me

On the first episode now. It's funny how much you forget about the show between seasons. Also, it's bizarre watching it and seeing all the Nazi propaganda, swastikas, the salute, etc. Thank god this is fiction.

Not completely, unfortunately.

Yeah the worship of the state is something the left dreams about. Placing your health in the hands of the state leads you down the path of the Smiths.

This is one of my favorite shows, but I pretty much ignore/tune out all of the resistance scenes and only watch the Japanese or German related scenes.

Need to watch the 30 minute recap episode. There’s a YouTube link on page 1, and you can also see it on Amazon. It’s a little buried depending on the platform you use to stream Amazon. It should be somewhere between the episode lists for seasons 2 & 3, near the previews for season 3.

Julianna Crain is quite possibly the worst protagonist ever.

When Miss Watanabe's character was introduced,

she looked so familiar to me but I couldn't figure it out until I ran the IMDB and saw she was Daniel-San's love interest in Karate Kid 2.

At 52, she's aged very well.

Of course, there's this to consider...

I also just finished. It was a nice clean ending for the season.

SPOILERS

Now that we know that Hawthorne was aware of John Smith's service in the US Army while he himself was serving, I hope we get to know more of Smith's backstory of when he switched sides.

What's interesting is that while there's apparent movement between the universes in the multiverse, time appears to be linear. No time travel. 1963 in one universe, 1963 in the other.

SPOILERS

I think there's been a mistake.

Hawthorne says that the reason why the person was able to cross over (and not explode) was because that person was not in the universe they traveled to. That person either didn't exist, or was dead, in the universe they traveled to (there was an "available space" there).

But, what about Tagomi?

In Season 2, he traveled to the Allies win universe and was with his son and Julianna. If the theory is correct, he would have had to have been dead in that universe. Wouldn't his son and his ex-wife be a little surprised at his resurrection?

swastikas

They totally went nuts with the swastikas. Smith's shelf and lamp in his apartment were swastikas, for Christ's sake.

I may not be remembering this correctly, but when he showed up in the alternate world, wasn't his son and Juliana really happy to see him, and mention something about him being gone for a long time? Maybe he had died/was murdered in the alternate world. Maybe the question will be answered at some point.

Finished Season 3 tonight. Each season has been better than the last for me.

SPOILERS

The season got even better after Juliana killed Joe Blake. I really enjoyed Frank’s story arc.

I think the Chief Inspector might be my favorite character. I shouldn’t like him but I do for some reason.

Can you put a Spoilers warning on your post? Binge shows are hard to do threads because a lot of people come here wanting to see if it’s worth watching.

Spoilers

I agree, I like how Frank went out. Joe was surprising and I have a feeling we’ll get an alternate Joe eventually.

It's been a while since I've seen season 2, but I think it was heavily implied that the Tagomi from that world committed suicide and his family didn't know yet.

Okay...that would make sense. I know it was implied that that Tagomi has some serious issues and strained relations with his family (he was separated from his wife). Guess I didn't make that inference.
