Deciding to overtly & without reason or explanation insert racial characters which run contrary to what Tolkien wrote specifically in how he described the various races is undeniably racist.
It’s flipping off & ignoring his works while at the same time trying to grift & then shame real fans.
It not what he wrote. It doesn’t fit his story. And it utterly makes a mess of established lore.

You’re a broken record who has had this explained ad nauseum. Pretending to not get it or understand is trolling & I’m not playing that game.
He wrote what he meant to write & was specific in characters appearance, their quality & temperament as well as an entire world in which they lived.
It’s so not an issue that there needs to be ANY redress of his work that to claim there is shows the height of arrogance, ignorance & insult to the man & his legacy.

Because that sets the tone for the entire series. Again it would be as if Jackson’s first scene was Bilbo adopting Frodo and then just briefly mentioning the One Ring and Gollum. It’s effectively telling the audience that this is not “Lord of the Rings” but “The Galadriel Show.” There are much more important things that you need to explain to the audience than Galadriel’s brother. That scene if anything should have been a flashback if it’s that important to the overall story (which it can’t be and seems entirely pointless).

You don’t have to telegraph the entire plot of a show in the first 5 minutes. Not everything needs a prolouge and this one did it’s job of explaining where the elves come from, why they left, why they fought what’s the state of that battle now, how long has the battle been going (long enough for Galadriel to grow up) and why the main character has the motivations she has.

I can tell you that I have spoken with quite a few people who are not Tolkien nerds and have not read any of Tolkien's writings on the 1st or 2nd age...
Their take on the prologue is different than yours... albeit mixed
Some were completely engrossed in the 1st episode and felt like it set up the history well (for them..) and others were on the other side wanting/needing a more thorough set up...
