Do you think Kaylee will be introduced in season 1? (I hope they can somehow get Soirise Ronan to voice her in her real accent)

I think it would be a great season ending cliff hanger.

Season finale has to involve 4 "larger than life" individuals.

1. Scanbo was even more ridiculous in the show than it was on the stream. (I absolutely laughed my arse off the whole time)

2. Vedmire's fate is different here than in the stream...so is Archie's.

3. The Anders fight ends slightly different (more brutal)

4. The easter egg of the guards playing D&D and the Matt Mercer NPC being the DM was PERFECT.

My prediction is that the Briarwood Arc wraps up in episode 11 with a denouement in episode 12...ending in a bad way.

If we see Kaylee it will either be the season finale or the start of season 2.

Of note: Keeper Yennen is a man in the actual campaign stream, but seems to be a better fit as an elderly woman.

Bumping before it falls off the page.

Last 3 episodes of the season drop next week.

The Chroma Conclave arc may take at least 2-3 seasons by itself alone. If the Briarwood Arc goes across 8 episodes when it went 12 episodes in stream time...and the Chroma Conclave arc went 41 episodes in stream time, that's 28 episodes of series time using equivalent math.

If each animated episode is around 30 minutes:

Briarwood Arc - 8 episodes
Chroma Conclave - 28 episodes
Darrington Arc/1 year later - 13 episodes
(REDACTED ENDGAME) Arc - 10 episodes
Epilogue - 4 episodes

If you include the first two of the series and add some filler, you come out with 72 episodes (6 seasons total)

Oh that TEASE at the end.

Looks like they're saving Kaylee, Dranzel, the Slayers Take and the Clasp for Season 2.

I hope they cast either Paul Eiding, Frank Welker or Peter Cullen as Thordak. Cree Summer will be Raishan. Charlie Adler needs to play one of Vorugal or Umbrasyl.

The last three episodes played out a lot different in the stream than in the series, but the outcome was the same.

For the current campaign - they finally have a name for the party: "Bell's Hells"

I know nothing about any of the original stuff but just finished last episode. Think series is great.

My one question is what’s the deal with Percy when he wears death mask and dark smoke surrounds him?

Did you watch the season finale? It explained that pretty well. He unwittingly made a pact with a shadow demon named Orthax who claims the soul of everyone whose name is on barrel of "The List" (his first gun). He is freed when Scanlan throws the weapon in the acid pit.

If you go ahead and watch the stream you'll see that they're not rid of Orthax just yet...he just finds a new "student" (it should be obvious at this point who it is).

Key differences between the last 3 episodes and the original.

-Duke Vedmire lives in the original because he accepts Cassandra as the rightful leader of Whitestone. One of his fellow dukes is executed by Grog.

-Archie lives in the original. He's also an old man.

-Yennen is a man in the original.

-Speaker Assum (halfling monk who is next to Uriel) hasn't said a word yet in the series. He is far more vocal in the stream.

-In the series, Ripley is disguised as an old woman in the prison and Vex fakes picking the lock, causing her to slip up and drop the mask.

-In the stream, Vex manages to bend one of the pipes in the acid room after Keylith heats the metal and uses it to melt one of the retaining walls, allowing them to escape.

-In the stream, Sylas turns into a cloud of mist to attempt to escape before Keylith and Pike "cross the streams" on him. The form it takes is flat out stupid ("a big ol bag of dicks"). He is later revealed to have survived and tries to take his revenge much later. The series doesn't look to give him the option to crash the "Dalen's Closet" event.

-In the stream, Keylith is almost killed by the Sphere of Annihilation (one of the investigators is killed, referencing that) and tries to bring the roof down on the Ziggurat but can't because it cancels all magic.

-In the stream, Cassandra does not snap out of it during the fight. Grog slams her into a pillar, knocking her unconscious, and Vax ties her arms and legs together. The party still thinks she is evil until the Orthax fight.

-In the stream, Percy tortures Delilah by using an illusion spell, turning his face into Sylas' and having it melt over and over again to try to break her mind.

-In the stream, TRINKET lands the killing blow against Orthax. In the series, he's left at Emon (presumably due to how difficult the animators had with him).

If you want to know where they are going with season 2, start at the very end of Episode 39 in the first campaign.

This is how season 2 will likely begin - start at 3:30:00

Keep in mind, these aren't just dragons or even adult dragons. These are ANCIENT dragons.

Thordak, the Cinder King (Red Dragon borderline demigod)
Raishan, the Diseased Deceiver (Green Dragon)
Vorugal, the Frigid Doom (White Dragon)
Umbrasyl, the Hope Devourer (Black Dragon)

The fifth member was Brimscythe, the Iron Storm (Blue Dragon/General Krieg, who the party killed earlier)

Characters we need to see and hear from in Season 2.

Thordak (OBVIOUS)
Raishan (OBVIOUS)
Vorugal (OBVIOUS)
Umbrasyl (OBVIOUS)
Assum Emring (He doesn't speak in Season 1)
Kaylee Shorthalt (Scanlan's daughter)
Drake Thunderbrand
The Herd of Storms (Grog's tribe)
Shale (Goliath Battlemaster)
Kevdak (leader of the Herd of Storms - The Thunderlord)
Zahra Hydris (Tiefling Warlock - of the Slayer's Take)
Kashaw Vesh (Human Cleric - of the Slayer's Take)
J'Mon Sa Ord (ruler of Marquet who is really the Brass Dragon Devo'ssa)
Eskel Ryndarian (human Wizard - similar to Gandalf)
General Ordis (Fire Giant who leads Thordak's army)
Dranzel's Spectacular Traveling Troupe (led by Dr. Dranzel, who I hope is somehow voiced by Andre Young himself)
and of course, Victor the Black Powder Merchant

2 episodes in and this is pretty good.

I’m intrigued.

The series can really only go 4 seasons.

Season 1 - Briarwoods
Season 2 - Conclave
Season 3 - "One Year Later"
Season 4 - Whispered One

There is enough story to make the Conclave last multiple seasons. Just finding the Vestiges could take a while. Switch up the order and get the armor last (and if you have watched, you know why its important and could be a cliffhanger). One Year Later could include the Slayer's Take stuff. Whispered One could be two seasons.
