Yes I know. It was a joke. Not a very good one I admit.

So it looks like the gun woman is doing her own study trying to get background info on all the people who disappeared.

It also looks like the preacher is passing out fliers trying to diminish the virtue of those that disappeared. I'm guessing his motive is that he was a preacher but remained on earth and is shite talking or making up lies about the raptured to cover up the bad things he did as a priest. That is what the end scene suggested to me at least.

Also, I've not read this thread but has it been suggested that black Jesus is the antichrist? (inb4 racist)

The raptured story has to have an antichrist

somebody posted this on fb just now (about themselves, not the show). basically sums up this show

quote:

People handle things that happen to them in their own ways. If you have never been In the situation you have no way of knowing how you would handle it. Think about that before you judge or talk nasty about someone. Do what you need to do to make yourself happy.

So now that 2 episodes have aired, what's the verdict on this series? Is it still to early to get a good read on it? I'm on the fence about starting this series

it drops you in the middle of a bunch of shite going on that it apparently it not going to explain, so you can see how people react to a random, unexpected, unexplained, and sudden crisis. we're going to see the characters interact with this forced mysterious setting to see how they cope, and react to their coping. the unexplained mysteries will hide the lacking story, and because characters start at A and end at B, the show will be praised as a character study (by people who secretly want to figure out the mysteries, while calling people who ask about them idiots who "need things spoon fed to them").

The majority of the time I have no idea what I am watching. Some aspects of the show are interesting to me, but there are so many storylines going on at all times. I need a flow chart of what is actually happening and who is the crazy one that shouldn't be believed in each scene.

Crackpot: at the end of the series the Chief will wake up from a nightmare.

I think I'm going to put this show on hold until the first season runs its course, then I'll binge. I'm not a fan of being fricked with week after week. I'd rather power through them all at once.

About to watch E2...

...I had it figured out that the woman in the cult was the chief's wife within the first 10 minutes. But I am confused about the chief's son storyline and all the Asian hoes hanging around the pool and the Bryan guy.
