first thing i said to my wife when they powered on the mall.... "Ugh...who ever is maintain the power certainly would know if the mall was turned out."

your involvement in this thread is an example of why women should to go back into the laundry room and shut up.

But I thought your ilk only brought rational criticism to this thread.

Bless your heart.

She’s a fair point. But this dude in the mall was on them instantly and they’d kick him down and run and he’d form tackle them in seconds, and was relentless.

And if they, as teenage girls, overtook him easily there’d be complaints that they were being portrayed in a Mary Sue-like fashion.

We’ve seen, as with the bloater, that they can grow in strength while infected. Or at the very least they don’t lose strength. Makes sense from that perspective that they would struggle with what would appear to be an adult man who is now a fungus person.

They literally showed them riding that thing for minutes. Just riding it. No storytelling, no plot. Just standing/sitting on a carousel in an abandoned mall riding it for fun.

Not sure if the game is like this, but the forced diversity thing is feeling forced.

How many white, male/female couples have been in this show? One? I'm having to already suspend reality about fungus zombies and they are also asking me to believe the surviving world is mainly gay and/or biracial?

Not to be a dick, but have you not noticed this watching TV, games, or movies over the last decade?

Can we discuss that he was perhaps the most athletic zombie in history?

No issue with the agility given how they portrayed grandma neighbor with a 20 foot broad jump, but he seemed way too interested in throwing haymakers rather than biting a bitch.

And I thought the infected with the tendrils were connected to a network...but the zombie hoard never showed up at Sonic.

Probably some game canon that the fungi prefers heterosexual brains.

We're not apparently supposed to talk about the game (surprised at the upvotes - I was heavily downvoted for doing that). But if you want to ask in the gamer thread (or just Google it), you can find out.

quote:

How is it over forced when it’s following a game adaptation that had gay characters in it?

One was only implied to be 'gay' - if that's even accurate. And the other was only outed at the very end of the game. And in neither case did anybody's sexuality, heterosexual or homosexual, have anything at all to do with the progression of the story. The tale itself is a strong one and doesn't really need burning episodes on background that doesn't even advance it. There are so many compelling possibilities. If they want to do Ellie, fine - then why not tell (in five minutes) how she became orphaned? Maybe spend three or four minutes on how she got bit and why the Fireflies decided, surely against all sorts of dystopian protocols, to keep her alive? This would fill in some interesting, and perhaps even needed details.

don't know shite about the game. But, if they were going to have 2 chicks kiss, they could have gotten better looking actors.

This was covered in last night's episode.

This was covered in the first episode.

That's exactly what they did, just not on your time frame.
