So the "bodyshot" was calling her hot? Eh. Nailed it.

He got her off of her guard telling her she was awesome.
Then hit her with a "you made your success off of your looks" shot.

Body shot. Not a knockout punch.

That was actually the best red carpet interview in the history of red carpets. Bill Hicks would be proud.

Or he's just a relatively intelligent comedian fricking with people.

Much more likely he’s just a fricking looney case

I’m sorry one of your favorite actors is a nutcase. It happens to the best of us

While hilarious in film and standup, dude has mental impairments. No sane individual would truly feel comfortable around him.

That’s also weird AF to say. So he and Robbie have some secret spat?

Also. It’s not like she’s Megan Fox. ITonya proves she can act. Sorry she’s an insanely hot blonde Aussie?

Carrey’s career died years ago. Still trying to hold on to past glories though I suppose.

If I had a list of top 100 actors Jim Carrey wouldn’t be in it.

You probably think Carrey is a nut job and that you’re a completely stable human being.

So I would completely understand you being upset that some whack job is infinitely more successful than yourself.

Most great comedy actors are a little looney.

Robin Williams
Tim Allen
Chris Farley
Eddie Murphy (tranny)
Richard Pryor
Gene Wilder
Don Rickles

There’s a lot of people a lot more successful than me. That’s an extremely low bar to cross.

I fricking love Jim Carrey. But he’s an insane person

That was kind of entertaining. Of course JC is pretty fricked up but I don't think that's a terribly uncommon trait in actors or comedians. The pathological need for attention combined with outlandish money and tons of sycophants doesn't stabilize unstable personalities.

And I doubt MR is any worse than the average actor but assuming she's either a victim or a stable person is probably a bit more generous than we should assume.

I'm kind of surprised at how defensive some people are in this thread. Plenty of great artists are whack jobs. Jim Carrey happens to be one of them.

Did it really flop though? 79% critic and audience scores on rotten tomatoes?

It's opening week barely covered the $80 to $100 million cost of actual production. And that doesn't include marketing which probably doubles that cost.
