It wasn't hard to swallow the suit made of cameras or the fact that he and his brother were working together.
But- let's see..."I'm a fit guy with model looks and likely a billionaire genius ala Bruce Wayne...but I'm going to obsess over and stalk over the absolute ugliest lead actress I've ever seen."
Seriously- she looks like the love child of Ellen DeGeneres and Nosferatu. She is so hideous, it actually was distracting to the point that it took me out of the movie at times.

It's called Hollywood, bruh. How many girls that were clearly out of his league did Jason Alexander's George Costanza snag on Seinfeld? Too many to count.

The restaurant scene made me roll my eyes. Did that restaurant not have security cameras to see that the knife was clearly behind Moss, and gravitated to her hand after it slit the sisters throat?

I found it hard to believe her flabby arse could control his arm and slit his throat so effectively.

Still enjoyed the movie.

Yeah, she's not a good-looking lady. I said to my wife that apparently she's just going to be famous for playing women who are oppressed and overrun by the men in their lives.

My thing I couldn't let go of is that just because he was invisible, that didn't mean that he was silent. Footfalls, breathing, interacting with his environment quickly....

I got the impression early on that it was going to be almost like Paranormal Activity, in that they intentionally framed certain shots wide, and your eye immediately begins to roam the room to see if there's something subtle that you're missing.

Seriously, ol' gal was double jointed. At least that's what I tell people when they check out my Facebook timeline.

My big thing is that he wouldn't notice the second suit missing all that time and that there is somehow a secret hiding space in his closet that he doesn't know about.

He obviously built that entire house....

But George had a good job in the Yankees front office and Jerry was at least a semi-famous comedian. Sluts are attracted to money over looks, bro.

Hot girls with average or downright ugly guys isn't unusual at all.

That's where you lost your suspension of disbelief?

Not that this invisible guy was in a tiny room with police officers and they couldn't hear him move or breath?

Full Disclosure: I once dated a girl who was a league or two beneath me for over a year, just out of spite. She turned me down and pissed me off, so I got her to date me then moved on when someone better came along. People do stupid shite when it comes to dating outside of their zone.

This movie was made with a microbudget. The lead actress had to be one who could carry the movie since she is the only actor in almost every scene. The production company got lucky and found the actress who played "Tree" in Happy Death Day who looked good and handled this type of role.

They had to settle for what they could afford. She did a good job with her performance but, ahe just wasnt a knockout in the looks department.

I think Maggie Gyllenhal in the Batman movie was un acceptable, but in this case it was fine.

Wait, what? What does HDD/ Jessica Rothe have to do with Invisible Man?

They were both Blumhouse movies and made with the lead actress having to carry the movie alone in most scenes. Once you notice this, its quite ingenious.

Its one of the ways Blumhouse can make movies on such a small budget. Most of the movie is only one actor per scene.

So you have never seen an attractive male with an average/ugly female?

I have the same problem with Mad Men

Pete is cheating on Alison Brie with Elizabeth Moss?

Come on

And early Season Peggy is intentionally extra homely looking.

Rothe had charm, a tomboy type of personality, and a certain sex appeal that made it work.

Moss is both homey AF and honestly... I’ve never enjoyed her acting either and based in the trailers it seemed incredibly over the top.

Definitely. Tree was charming & sexy AF, especially during the suicide montage in HDD2U. LINK
