Anyone watch this on Netflix? I watched a couple of episodes. Not terrible, but I also don't remember laughing once. Any thoughts?

I don't plan on watching it. Will Ferrell had one of the best comedic runs of all time, but he hasn't gotten a chuckle out of me in over a decade.
Last funny movie was The Other Guys, last funny anything was Ashley Schaeffer. He's gotten super corny since then imo

its pretty horrible. i watched it all, but that's because i had knee replacement surgery and had a ton of time to waste

I normally like his movies/ shows but like others, I made it through half of episode 2. It wasn’t funny and the story just sucked.

I was expecting to hate it but I chuckled a few times.
The son was by far the worst part of the show. Probably the worst actor I've seen in a show or movie in a long time. And absolutely no sense of comedy. I have no idea why they cast that guy in a comedy.
Molly Shannon was also pretty annoying.
The entire plot line of the final match was pretty non sensical as well. The son owes gambling money so Lonnie needs to lose the match to his son so he can pay his debtors. The mom is absolutely chewing Lonnie out because he won't let the son win. SO Lonnie says "How about I just give him the money?" THe mom: "HOW CAN YOU BE SO SELFISH!!!!!?????"
I'm like what does it matter if he pays his gambling debts off with his winning or money Lonnie gives him. Pretty ridiculous.
Also, Lonnie 100% should have just forgotten his bitch wife he's seperated from and boned Chris Parnell's wife on the 18th green. She was a smoke show.

For me he's like the friend you have and you really love them but can only take them in small doses. Ferrell wears on me pretty quickly if he's the lead character and has a lot of screen time in the move.

I thought it was very mediocre. I only got through the first two episodes though.

I think he's too old to be the same character he played in all his roles in the 90s/00s. He needs to pivot his comedic style.
I watched all of this show in the background and it had some funny parts, but it just tried way too hard. And the son is really bad in it.
