The Grey ending scene after the credits *spoiler*

Saw it last night. Didnt know something was after the credits
Were about 12 people in the theater when i went. Probably 7 or 8 different people cursed out loud at the ending.

be glad u walked, it wAs a 1 second flash of liam laying on the wolf, they both still breathing but it looked like he defeated wolf but would prolly die shortly after

I thought it was ok. It was what I was expecting- a survival movie with each character dying one by one.

Must have been in the same theatre. Yea don't stay past the credits, we did and the clip was maybe 2 seconds

I was cringing when they were telling each other their first names by the river.
I also have NO CLUE how in the world they got across that cliff to the tree(i guess?)
...The trees are about 40ft away from the cliff. The guy jumps about 5ft away from the cliff, then falls straight down when the clothes they tied together snapped(laughable in itself).
Next thing we see is a perfect rope made from those clothes tied to the trees 40ft across.
Also amazing they happened to have a locker room's worth of extra clothes with them.

I go to the movies to be entertained. If I want to argue realism, I'll watch documentaries. Common now, just enjoy the ride. I thought it was a great movie. I also like that liam neeson played an atheist anti faith hard arse. +1 for the good guys

I had several problems with the Grey and do not get the hype...
1. Why leave the plane that offered shelter, food, and plenty of stuff to burn/turn into weapons? "Hey, let's walk into those woods instead!" Further, it was out in the open and more likely to spot than 7 dudes trudging through the woods. Which brings me to point 2...
2. We're supposed to believe no one would look for them cause they're rufneks? Huh? OK, what about the pilots, stewardess and airline's multi-million $ plane not to mention all their families. Movie really lost me here. Again, the "we're on our own out here" theme was ridiculous in this day and age.
3. After seeing the previews, it was obvious that Liam would be left to fight a last battle on his own. So the plot boils down to a tedious wait to see who'll get eaten next.
I did not have a problem with the ending after the silliness of the rest of it.
The one bright spot was the shock-value of some of the wolf attacks. Had the audience jumping a couple of times. Oh, and Neeson is solid as always.

They wolves were picking them off in the camp. The plane was ripped to shreds and wasn't really protecting them from the below freezing temps or the wolves. It's not like it had a door you could open and close. Not to mention they needed a fire to keep warm, which you couldn't light up inside the remainder of the plane.

They never confirmed this. The roughnecks were purely speculating that they were "nobodies". I think their inability to get rescued stemmed from their exact location being hard to track down. They knew that their was a possibility they wouldn't be found, so they had to take matters into their own hands.

Who else were they going to show on the previews? Neeson was the only recognizable actor in the film. I couldn't even tell you the details of the previews.
Your silly nitpicking can easily be questioned. You can say this type of shite about any movie. Not sure what you were expecting from this.
I'm sure you have a nice breakdown of "Taken" as well?

Sorry to bump this thread. I did a quick search because I watched this today and absolutely loved it.
The black "alpha wolf" at the end was death. The whole thing was a metaphor. He finally accepted his wife's death and thats why the wolf died with him at the end. The only way to defeat death is to accept it and stop running from it.
It was movie about death dressed as a "survival" movie.
