I’ve watched this about a dozen times cause the movie channels are running out of material thanks to China virus. I really enjoyed it and thought it was well done. Not Oscar worthy, but solid performances from the cast. Anyone else feel the same or have my standards slipped to a new low?

Agreed. And this movie was fricking excellent.

Loved the cast too. Not even a Hugh Grant fan but I loved him in this. He was pretty funny.

Guy Richie is a man’s man and makes films for men. Loved him on his Joe Rogan episode as well.

Probably my favorite movie last year but that’s not saying much (about the competition.)

What’s funny is that I have really liked most of his remakes (Aladdin is the best live action Disney to me, like both Sherlocks, and Man from UNCLE was great.).

Arthur was pretty awful though.

I love everything Ritchie has done. Arthur was easily the worst of his movies but even then I was entertained. I'll watch anything Ritchie has done.. He's definitely my favorite director.

The whole cast is strong. Farrell's 'coach' is an awesome character.

We rented some random shite from Redbox one weekend when our modem died and waiting on a replacement. This was one of the movies and couldn't believe how good it was.

I'll agree that is was a very good movie and one of the best from last year. I'm not even sure what I would put up there with it.

The cast is really good top to bottom.
Story is good start to end.
Cinematography was great.

I appreciate that it didn’t use graphic violence- well not slasher/torture/gruesome shite- when other films would have. It was violent and eluded to horrible things. But it was a good example of movie making that didn’t resort to graphic violence or nudity to carry the scenes. I get tired of seeing someone getting tortured to try and prove a character’s evilness.
As with nudity or sex scenes, sometimes things are better left to the imagination.

Charlie Hunnam is a much better actor when he isn't trying to produce an American accent.
