That was a good line. They fed it to us and lots of us still couldn't believe it.
It's pretty weird he would kill Iris, but I guess future Flash has gone cold.

I'm guessing his inability to save Iris is what starts him down this path, and then he gradually loses his shite down the timeline and becomes Savitar in the future.

Only other thing I can think of is that Iris betrays Barry. That just doesn't seem likely with the way they've portrayed Iris to this point. She seems to be damn near perfect.
