I’m still not sure. 
Obviously it’s entertaining though, and I’m still watching it. I did love the scene where the kid that had been infected with the protomolecule dissected that human. That was nice, and gnarly. I still don’t give a frick about anything involving Fred Johnson and the belters though.
And yeah Amos has probably been the best surprise for me.

I think thats kinda the point of her character. Mars is this MARS FIRST folk with a supreme military. Mars citizens ask no questions. They put MARS FIRST to get terraformed so they can have a life like those scumbag Earthers or trash Belters.
She becomes disenchanted with that crap due to experiences with folks from outside of Mars and from seeing more clearly that Mars is not perfect like she was brainwashed into believing.
I see her like a meathead that wises up a little. She kinda plays that just fine to me.

Those scenes were awesome. Knowing what was about to happen to that poor sling shot dude I couldn't wait to see how they translated it to tv. Loved it
