I liked The Exorcist 3 and The Exorcist The Begining. This Believer looks like shite from the trailer. I hate Hollywood anything to cater to a minority of the audience, let's possess a black girl and frick her up so we are not racists.
Here's an idea why not go by the novel and have a small boy as the one possessed? Maybe because they wouldn't be able to do the crucifix scene. I didn't see anything that made me a Believer of the Believer movie.
Yep, I don't think I'd watch this one for free.

Exorcist 3 is the shite and has arguably the GOAT suspense/horror scene in a horror movie ever.

A shitload of movies have white people getting possessed and one of the few very times it's a black person you melt down.

Saw it before Oppenheimer and broke out in a cold sweat. I’m a horror movie guy but might skip this one

You obviously aren’t a “horror movie guy”

Yeah but it was shot terribly for what it was supposed to be. Terrible lighting, makeup, angles, etc. That clip made me almost chuckle.

Yea, that was definitely a “Hollywood church.” Should have had her walking into an average mid-sized mega church and scaring the shite out of some associate discipleship pastor.

Same as the Halloween movies this is purely for shock value. No character development or significant plot twists. With that said I’ll watch it since I’m such a fan of the first.
