To say TFA was that bad seems more like a troll.
I really liked the movie. I own it on Blu-Ray and try to catch it when it is on tv. There is so many parts that just hold up so well on multiple viewing. Him standing up to the bully, his reason for going to war, jumping on the grenade, and several more. I have never got the hate for this movie other than just guessing people dont like a hero who is as good of a guy as he appears. People see to be annoyed by the fact that Cap has a strong morale compass and doesn't waver on it.
With all that said, I rank Dark Knight as the best of the six but then it is all Cap after that. I wasn't a huge fan of Batman Begins and while i certainly don't hate DKR as much as others, I prefer the three Cap movies over it. With that said, I am really surprised just how good all six of these movies are.
Makes me wonder how the other comic book trilogies (Iron Man, Blade, soon to be Thor).

While everything is subjective about judging movies, the audience scores on Rotten Tomatoes for the six movies are 94%, 94%, 92%, 92%, 90%, and 74%. I'll let you guess which one is TFA. Compared to the other 5, most audiences didn't think it stacked up well. Doesn't mean you can't like it a lot.

TFA is underrated, which means that i understand people don't value it like they should. By that same thought, i have always thought Batman Begins was overrated. But that means people really enjoy it.
But i don't think there is enough of a gap to say that liked TFA a lot would be a troll. The movie wasn't Daredevil or Catwoman bad.

I have to give it to Cap. I love the batman trilogy but just something about cap that puts it over the edge. The last two films were the best of the recent comic book movies and I loved the first one too. More fun and more humor.

So I would say both trilogies are great and both are very different from each other. I enjoyed both immensely.

Agreed. He was almost as important to this film as Cap was. Do we know if RDJ will be making an Iron Man 4?

CA 1st and Begins are about even for me. I really enjoy the throwback cheesiness of CA. Begins was good as well, set the tone for a very good batman.
