theres a lot of speculation that Levitt may be playing a variation of Jean Paul Valley from the Knightfall story arc.

Yeah I heard that as well. I doubt its true, at least I hope its not. That would be way too many storylines IMO, I wouldn't want this film turning out like spiderman 3 did.

i have faith that it will be nothing like spiderman 3. anxious to see what part JGL actually will play in the story, I have to imagine there is some meat to his role besides just a beat cop.

The series can be "complete" without the League of Shadows.
For people that aren't obsessed with the film's news, it's a pretty big spoiler.

i don't see how. it's just a confirmation that they will be in the movie. not that big of a deal. maybe... Bruce Wayne and Talia get it on, have a baby, and the kid moves on as the next Batman(isn't that what happened in the comics).... and Batman and Catwoman are just strictly enemies/allies or whatever the hell they were back in the day.

Bane does break Batman's back, but he doesn't kill or paralyze him. If I'm not mistaken, Darkseid (a Superman foe) is the one who eventually kills Batman.

OML, post your best guess on how this movie plot shapes up and how it is likely to end. You seem to know a lot about the Batman universe and various iterations and characters from the comics and animated stuff.

I'm not sure really. If I had to guess some plot points, Bane will cripple Batman in some form during the film, Bane is likely working for the League of Shaodws and is the person they'll use to physically confront Batman, Catwoman will be an antihero and not an antagonist. Also betting that Talia is the love interest over Selina and Talia exploits Bruce's resources in order to get gadgets she can use to destroy him and Gotham, like producing more Tumblers for instance. I don't think Batman will die though. Anything else is pretty much just a blank guess from me.

i know it wasn't directed towards me, but i know i don't know that much. i just found out yesterday batman kept kryptonite in his belt.
i also did hear that batman and talia or bruce and talia, whichever, get together, have a kid, and the kid takes over the reigns as batman. is this true?

The League of Shadows were the main antagonists in "Batman Begins" and are lead by Ra's al Ghul. Talia is Ra's daughter and is probably Batman's biggest love interest in the series. Talia often goes out and does Ra's dirty work for him and leads the League of Shadows.

that's right. it was robin. well, i was close. there's so many robins, i couldn't keep up. Dick Grayson was from the circus, Tim Drake was in the audience of the circus during the Grayson family incident right? then he kinda stalked batman and robin until the joker killed robin and tim wanted to be the next robin. amarite?
