But obviously people on these shows are different than normal people.
I really don't know how Ashley has so many friends. Almost every season she shows how terrible of a person she is to her core. She's lucky she has (had, think her dad died during one of these seasons) a rich daddy because she acts like pure white trash.

And Ashley is this dude:
Man, I don't remember him at all.
He was only on War of the Worlds and didn't last too terribly long. His baby girl was diagnosed with leukemia at 4 months old, received treatment for 5 months, then they found out it returned right after she was released from the hospital. Really sad situation.

yes, she and Zach are still together
I always liked Jenna, but eve since she went full HIV mode and lost all that weight, something has just been off. She's has also become a complete bore on the show.
I also still love Zach because he's so good in the interviews and he always called out Laurel for being an evil, soulless bitch, but it's obvious his past 4 or 5 seasons that he simply doenst want to be there. He was just showing up for a large appearance fee, then barely playing the game and almost intentionally getting sent home.
He's just totally lost his fire for the game it seems.

Yeah Zach is entertaining when he cares. It’s just been a while since he’s cared.
Sucks for Jenna that she’s still with that dude, and also now tied to him for life with a kid. And in her prime she was arguably the hottest chick ever on the show. But the last few years she’s been skinny and unhealthy looking like you mentioned, and it’s just strange.
And my biggest problem with John is how hypocritical he has always been. “All’s fair in love and challenges,” except when it’s his turn to get called...then it’s the worst thing ever and someone owes him or he’s mad at them for the rest of life. I have no problem with what he did to Sarah. For starters, I don’t like her anyway. But outside of that, they are all there for the money and the fame. And maybe John more than anyone. Pulling that move not only netted him an extra half million, but it went down in Challenge history and will be remembered forever. That’s what he wants. I’m not sure I could’ve done that to someone, but who knows. And I don’t blame him for it. Just like I don’t blame Ashley either, even though she had obvious personal reasons to frick Hunter out of that money.

There was a topic on reddit where it said Lolo didnt quit, but was sent home by producers because she told them of her mental health issues. To protect her privacy they only showed the audience her little speech to make it look like it was decision. Who knows if true.

for as big and athletic as Zach is, his challenge career has been pretty underwhelming. He should be one of the more dominant players year after year but he never has been. He's won once in Battle of the Seasons, in his first season on a 4 person team almost 10 years ago, and Frank was arguably the strongest person on that team. He's made a few other finals but finished last all but once. He also only had to go into one elimination, against a rookie who never came back to the show very early in the season, combined the three other finals he's made. The other two seasons, he just coasted and was never thrown in.
He was 2-0 in eliminations his first season. Since then, his record in eliminations has been 2-7. One of his wins was against a weak rookie that never returned to the challenge. The other win was against Bananas/Morgan in a puzzle. He lost to one-handed Jordan in an elimination where all he had to do was drive a stake into the ground with a mallet. He lost to Darrell in a pole wrestle. He even lost an elimination to Cory and Devin. He more or less threw the elimination because Amanda was his partner.

That was the most infamously and widely confirmed rigged eliminations in Challenge history

I saw she posted on Twitter and Instagram that producers forced her to quit and that she was pulled aside to make it look like she needed to leave

Exactly. Zach should have 2 wins. The Vendettas final was one of the biggest shite can jobs I've ever seen.
So this is now what all these contestants are using instead of saying that they have to quit because the challenge broke them.
It's probably no coincidnece that the 2 highest profile cast members this year (the WWE guy and Lolo) both flat out quit the show because they couldn't handle the game. It's also total bullshite to all those people in the past who were raked over the coals and chastised and heckled by TJ for doing the exact same thing.
At least back in the day, though, they didn't use these weasely excuses. The word is obviously out. Just claim your about to have a breakdown and you can go home with no issue.
I'm sure lots of people who were on the show in the past went through bouts of depression and anxiety and felt like they were in a prison. Hell, Nany does this every season. Robin used to break down every year. That was part of the game.

Uhmm....I have watched Lolo on 3 different shows and it was obvious on all 3 that she is crazy as hell. All you have to do is watch her to see she is emotionally unstable which is always going to be considered unhealthy by mental health experts.
Not only that, but Lilo is a high profile contestant so she will always be treated with kid gloves by production. They dont want the bad publicity of keeping an Olympic athlete in a toxic environment when she was going signs of instability.
It shocks me how much CT has changed over the years. Back in the day I would have bet, with his temper, he would eventually kill someone.

Putting that on Paramount+ is a bummer for me. As much as I love the Challenge shows, I'm not about to pay for a subscription for another streaming service just to watch it. It's ultimately not that important to me.
I may have to try to watch it via other methods if push comes to shove and I really want to see it.
I’ve bought seasons for sale on Amazon prime when I didn’t have mtv when I had PlayStation vue.... probably cheaper than paramount+ and you can binge watch

I have felt the exact same way this season.
The biggest meathead I've seen on the show...is now the most compassionate person I've seen on the show. He's just having fun and trying to win. He just refuses to compromise his character to win.
By far and away, my favorite Challenge contestant.
I wish they could find a way to get Kam and him to partner up for one last season. Give the GOAT a legitimate chance to go out on top, with an equally kind person at his side with the female-version-athleticism of a younger CT.

That is a joke right??? Cam is awful in every way possible

Yeah... Ummm.. Everybody pretty much hates Kam.
I do fully expect CT to change partners though. It's obvious from past previews that he survives next week and Big T goes crying.
Question is, who does he go after?
Before Lolo left, I was thinking strongly that he'd pick her. But that obviously ain't happening.
Does he go back for Kam again? It would be a wise move strategically, but then he would also kind of lump himself in with Big Brother by proxy. He may not want to do that.
But, then again, just what girls are left that are any good at all and not linked to Big Brother?
He's not taking Aneesa. He's not taking Darrell's partner. He's likely not taking Gabby or Nany, And I can't see him going back to Big T if he at all wants to win.
That leaves Kam and Kaycee, right? I think Kaycee is to scheezy and untrustworthy for him, so he'll probably have to take Kam.
Then you also have Nam just floating. I'd assume Cory gets Big T and Nam is just left out to dry unless they do a double elimination, which, at this point, I don't see how you can't.

I bet he takes Kaycee. She’s the best girl on the show and she and Leroy have dominated.
