3. Jordan (racial stuff with Nia, they handled it well IRL, he is a big name and I expect him back)

what am i missing here? he was on last season, the racial stuff happened 8 years ago on the real world, and nia is the one that is probably banned from the show.

I've also turned the corner on Amber B. After some googling I think she's super hot now.

She could definitely run my final.

He was on the season where Turbo, Bear, Georgia, and Theo all debuted. War of the Worlds I.

He is a light skinned black guy who played professional soccer in England. He partnered with Kam and they defeated Josh and Amanda before losing to Paulie and Ninja Natalie.

As for Jordan, I think that a lot of attention on previous incidents was placed after Dee got banned for making a joke. What she did was so much lighter than what basically every famous regular besides Wes and Cara Maria ever did.

Anyways Jordan did the whole semi-public apology thing but instead of just posting something in his Notes app, he actually spoke with Nia and from what I recall, it was much more civil and friendly than I expected.

Nia should have been banned from the get-go for her violent actions her season. But she hasn’t been back since she grabbed Jordan’s package and said he was dickless and then called him a derogatory term for gay people that we all heard on the playground in 6th grade. At least that’s what I remember. I think that was the season Jordan and Sarah won after sending Bananas into an elimination against Leroy and Nia. Then Theresa was brought back to be leroy’s partner. Jenna and Jay got third when he couldn’t drink fermented milk or whatever it was.

As for Paulie, this is the most speculative, but on Vevmo people said he didn’t get a casting call after posting some videos on social media.

Paulie mostly listens to Nu Metal like Papa Roach and he had some video where he is singing along to something dumb and vague like “killing his haters and enemies” or something and then allegedly John said the Video made him uncomfortable around Paulie.

I am more skeptical of this than all of the others bc a) it sounds super flimsy and b) the guy complaining has done more to be banned under the new, much stricter rules than almost anyone else. But that has been implied in rumors.

No one knows what exactly is happening with Turbo but he has made a lot of bad-looking movies recently which could pay decently well.

I am also unsure about Ninja Natalie and I assume Rogan isn’t on either because he turned it down or they don’t have a new storyline for him yet.

Everything else has actually happened (Jordan’s apology, Mattie’s arrests, the Bear-Georgia fiasco, Ashley’s kid having cancer, Theo’s freak injury, Dee’s ban, etc).

Lolo just has no idea how this competition works or how to play it. I think she walked into thinking that it's like any other athletic competition where everyone gets their equal shot, and the winner will be solely determined based on how well you can perform in challenges compared to your peers. One would think she would have done at least minimal due diligence and have watched prior seasons to understand how important alliances are and how important the social aspect of the game is, or the sheer fact that people don't want a multi-time Olympian in multiple sports to get a gold skull and make it to the finals.

I mean holy hell, her plea to the group to put her in was the absolute worst argument I've ever heard. "Hey guys, I can't work with my team mate and want to switch. I'm an olympian and know I will win, so just put me in against anyone so I can not only knock one of you out, but also earn a spot in the finals, and cure a dystfucntional relationship with my partner that benefits everyone else in the game. I also have no alliances, nor have I developed any friendships with any of you, or tried to, but please vote me in because that's what I want".........then she goes onto to complain about no one voting her in. Newflash, they don't want you to get a gold skull. That hurts their chances of winning. In this format, the only time a strong competitor is going in is either 1) by winning a daily and putting yourself in; or 2) a power move being made, early in the game, where two strong competitors are thrown in by the agents and the double agents to eliminate one strong competitor and/or break up an alliance. She has no alliances, and the girls don't have many strong competitors, so there is no benefit to vote her in. And Lolo doesn't have the mental fortitude to go win a daily. She just cries and makes excuses, thinking her athleticism alone should carry her to the final.

But it's very clear from seeing her on this show, champs v stars, and just knowing about her past that she has a ton of insecurity issues, and it's no surprise at all she still single and still a virgin. I honestly think he being a virgin as less to do with her saying it's religiously based but more so to do with her glaring emotional and personality issues. She's an attractive girl who projects well the first time she meets someone, but it doesn't take long for someone to realize how crazy she is. Not many men have the patience to take on all her baggage.

Part of me also just feels her exit was scripted before she even started the show. As others have said, she knew exactly when she was going and how long she could potentially be there. If she needed to leave to "train for the Olympics," she knew that before the show started. Either that, or she's completely full of shite.

Whatever the case may be, she's really annoying. I felt bad for Nam having to deal with her. But, as stated above, he had a crush on her early on when they first met, but it didn't take very long for him to realize he wanted to part of her craziness.

I think part of it is getting screwed over so badly by Ashley, but he also had a kid now, so I'm sure that has something to do with it. That aside, he may have possibly been the single dumbest person in challenge history.

Yeah, Hunter was a moron, but he had his soul broken when Ashley took his 500K.

I hope the producers realized that that move of taking another person's money has actually cost them 2 regular cast members. Sarah was a total lifer who loved that show more than anyone else and now she's gone forever.

Hunter, whom I really didn't care for, also may never be back, either.

Yeah I’d be pretty bitter if I got screwed like that too lol

If the person actually helped me win I just don’t think I could do that to someone. But obviously people on these shows are different than normal people.

the OG Challenge Season will be on that new streaming service Paramount+.

Looks like the air date is not set yet, but this is the teaser trailer: LINK

Not much there, just a bunch of names that we alrwdy knew were confirmed for the show.

Oh yeah, and they're also apparently bringing back Road Rules. By the sound of it, it feels almost like survivor mixed with naked and afraid (only with clothes) mixed with classic RR.

This could be an excellent new feeder system for The Challenge.

Description of both shows below:

quote:

Welcome back, Mark, Trishelle, Syrus, Beth, Ruthie and Big Easy.
The Challenge: All Stars, coming soon to ViacomCBS' highly anticipated streaming service Paramount+.

With $500,0000 and their legacies on the line, which of these All Stars will prove they are still the best of the best?

In the teaser video above, six monikers are etched on a Challenge helmet. There are champions, finalists and, of course, veterans. Now we need the rest of the lineup...

And speaking of Real World's sister show: Road Rules is also returning to Paramount+ -- with a new roaster of Road Warriors.

More on RR: These strangers will be abandoned in a far-flung location and stripped of their modern day luxuries by beginning a restricted life in an RV, traveling from location to location. They will be guided by a set of clues, odd jobs, and missions for money. If they last to the end of the trip, they walk away "rewarded...handsomely" with a life-changing prize.

Btw, if you have an old 247 sports account, I think you can get Paramount+ (CBS ALL access) with it for like $4/Mo right now.

Man, I sure hope it's not something like that, because that's terrible.

And Ashley is this dude:

Man, I don't remember him at all.

it really was a bullshite setup in both of those seasons where some arbitrary time calculation in a team final gave one the opportunity to steal all the money. At least in the Bananas/Sarah season, TJ told them about that twist before the final started, but it was still a bullshite twist in the game both times. I sometimes wonder what their contracts look like with respect to the rules of the competition and payments for winning. You'd think there would have to be some pretty creative language to give them full discretion to change rules on the fly like that. I know other game shows with prize money have to take action from time to time due to liability issues when prize money is on the line to keep things fair.

I actually disliked Bananas for a long time. Not so much for him doing it because I expected him to but more so for him defending it like he did. I think he eventually admitted it was a really shitty thing to do that he ended up regretting. But he dug his heels in on that move for years, like Sarah shouldn't have been upset because she sent him into an elimination right before the final the year prior as if that's anywhere close to taking someone's money who not only won but also was a big reason he was able to win as well. Johnny could have won the elimination she threw him in (which literally happens every season). There was little to nothing Sarah could have done to prevent what he did. IIRC, the inner-team time competition was something random like who stayed up the longest the night in between challenge days when they were camping, as if anyone would be able to reasonable track, to the minute, how long each was awake when they were taking turns.

Putting that on Paramount+ is a bummer for me. As much as I love the Challenge shows, I'm not about to pay for a subscription for another streaming service just to watch it. It's ultimately not that important to me.

I may have to try to watch it via other methods if push comes to shove and I really want to see it.

Jenna has made multiple finals. She made it in Bloodlines with her sister the very next season. She also finished second in Rivals II. She was never going to finish better than third with Jay, but yeah, he flat out quit during the eating portion of the final. I have never seen TJ more disgusted with someone on the show. They were team layup the entire season. No one ever put them into the elimination because they were horrible and it would basically make the final head to head with whoever else made it.

And yes, she and Zach are still together. They postponed their wedding because of COVID, and she just recently announced she's pregnant.
