That was a really fun episode.
Kam is such a badass. Her and Cara Maria are easily my two favorite women, as they're pretty much consistently "what you see is what", you get"with Natalie/Marie being that second tier seeing them this season.
When Tony and Bananas took down Shane and Nelson 3-0, I had a big arse smile on my face. Not sure why. I'm not emotionally invested enough to be more than just entertained mostly, but this win just was incredibly satisfying to watch.

Brad and Kyle picked the battle of brains but showed up unarmed.
Also, in the boulder challenge, Sylvia and Natalie were bragging about how they passed Tony and Johnny but it was clear that Banana’s Boulder was MUCH heavier. Joss and sylvia we’re barely pushing theirs while running, but tony and Johnny were shoving the boulder up with their body weight.
I'm sorry, but slanting the competition is just wrong. They shouldn't have made coed vs all male teams if they were going to alter the rules so heavily in one teams favor.
To my knowledge they've never Done this before. It actually should be far more offensive to the girls that this happens.
The rock Joss had was damn near bouncing off the ground each time it rolled it was so light. Tony and John's looked like it weighed 300 lbs.
And as for Kyle and Brad, if they're going to be that damn dumb, they deserve to be gone.
They've fricked up twice choosing to go against all girl or coed teams. Plus the elimination strategy was even dumber. Kyle is 7 ft tall and Brad is supposedly a math teacher.
Why wouldn't you have the length for the climb and the smart one looking at the board. Beyond dumb.
I'm Glad Kam and Kayleigh are gone. I'm glad Shane and Nelson are gone, but I think MTV will fukc John and Tony if they make it to the final. They will absolutely weight them or slow them down intentionally.
You can really tell though that Hunter is so damn nervous now with them back.
BTW, I hate sylvia. I can't even stand to listen to her anymore. I almost have to FF through her interview segments.

You knew when they showed it to be an endurance challenge with John holding his arms, he was fricked. He's got 100 lbs on Natalie. It's just too much mass to hold up vs someone that small.
The most amazing part is that even if the challenge had depended onlybon eating, Paulie still beat Tony in his part.
Sucks John and Tony are gone, but at least they made it to the end to keep this show interesting.
I'm sick of the coed stuff. Back in the day this challenge would have been a tug of war type of Finale, with both challengers strapped to each other and they both dig into the sand for hours.
Now it's eating milk and holding your arms up.
Paulie and Natalie may very well win the final and they should have been eliminated 3 or 4 times. The redemption house format they used this year was horrendous.
I think Paulie is actually one of the most dangerous guys in a final we've seen in a while. He's got a screw loose and he can probably run as good as anyone. Natalie can also run, but she's an idiot. I only see Sylvia and Joss running with them and sylvia will probably give up.
Palie may also very well take all of the million, but I think so would Hunter and so would Ashley.

Paulie and Natalie and Hunter and Ashley basically got a free pass for half the season. Them being in the final is bullshite. I hate Tony and John less than the other teams but I like seeing John lose so I guess its ok that they're out. All teams left have a big wekness but I think it will come down to Paulie and Natalie vs Joss and Sylvia. Joss is a little better than Paulie but Natalie is a little better than Sylvia. Marie's unathletecness and Hunter's stupidity are too much to overcome for the other teams.

Derrick and Wes pole wrestling on The Duel.

Yep, they used to save the toughest most mind frickingly gruesome elims for last because it used to almost always guaranteed be two heavyweights vying for a spot in the final. The last 3 or 4 eliminations of a season used to be brutal. It's what you waited for tbe whole season.
The final daily challenge used to be incredible as well. Remember the CT Choo Choo train when he was partnered with Adam and he fricked up and lost.
Those guys got wrecked in that elimination. The trivia thing, again, was a result of the coed teams. Seemingly every old time daily challenge, like the rope bridge thing they did 1000 feet in the air, got the strong teams wins. The finesse/puzzle stuff it was a toss up.
They basically made the entire game an anti male-male team challenge. They should just go back to separating the genders so they can slug it out. It's better TV anyway.

This season has been one of the worst since probably battles of the seasons when the San Diego crew won
I have fast forwarded most of the last few. The only entertaining part was TJ histerically laughing at the folks getting trivia wrong. Natalie not knowing what a prime minister was reminded me of Brad trying to spell throne

Well next season appears to be a classic Fresh Meat style season with no redemption and classic male-female pairs. The only difference from the past is that the fresh meat are all reality stars from other shows.

That was the worst elimination this show has had yet, in any season. Wha a shockingly bad design.

Rumor (Johnny retweeted this) is that there was another elimination the night before that production cancelled midway through. (It’s also hinted that Johnny and Tony were in a lead) They went back the next day and did the milk and cookies one.

The problem with this season is the coed teams. It just makes for awful challenges and eliminations and this episode was no different.

This is the tweet John was referencing:
Apparently Marie has a website and she writes about the show. She said the first elimination contraption broke during filming and it was "unfair" because John and Tony were winning.
The next nights milk and cookies bullshite she said was more "fair"
Looks like Tony may be shutting it down for a bit, too. Probably to recharge his batteries. He indicated the mental stress of the season because everyone was gunning for them.
What is good about this final though is that I'm now heading over to vevmo to read about next year's cast, because I honestly don't give 2 fuks who wins final reckoning. I hope someone takes the money and makes the other miserable. This final was gift-wrapped to most of these weak arse teams.

Very tough loss...if this isn’t a sign I need a break idk what is. Thank you to everyone who has acknowledged my progress over the last few seasons, it means more than you know. #TonyTime has been suspended until further notice!!!

I found the teams on Vevmo earlier last week. I stopped looking once the posted the first elimination. I think it could be a strong season with all of the ringers they brought in like the pro soccer player, the guy who ran the 4x100 for the UK track team, and the Turkish guy who is the global leader in Survivor all-time earnings.
I believe they were partnered with Kam, Cara, and Nany respectively.

Next season's cast sucks. Mostly people from all these stupid shows I've never seen. They won't have anyone from JERSEY Shore but they have people from some shite called Geordi Shore.
Posted on 11/14/18 at 8:27 pm to Korin
The Jersey Shore people were making millions a year. They were making more with club appearances than the entire jackpot of Gauntlet or Inferno seasons.

I just hate how they don't stick to RW/RR cast members now.

How long has it been since there was a Road Rules? Has to be 10 years now. Real World has been gone a few years too but its coming back.

I guess I’m the only one that was surprised that Natalie was able to stand on top of a small box while holding her hands straight up over her head for over 5 1/2 hours?

I’m more surprised Bananas lasted that long. His arms are substantially heavier.

Has to be 10 years no
I bet RR hasn't aired in more like 15 yrs. they may have done a one off season once, but the actual show probably went off the air in the early 2000s. Veronica is seriously probably 42 or 43 now...or older.
I was amazed at how old Cara and John are. I think Cara is 32 and John is 36 or 38. I guess Cara is On like year 8 or 9 on the show though and Johnny is on like year 12 I think.
Ct is probably maybe only a year or two older than John even though he was on the real world 3 or 4 years before him.
But if I remember, CT was a baby on that Paris season,I think he was only 18 or 19 and I think John was a post college grad.
Either way, I like the idea of a fresh meat style show, and as others have said, it looks like some legit athletes coming in. There also seems to be a monster girl that I saw. She is like a Ninja Warrior competitor or something and had shoulders and arms on her like a power lifter.
I think Zack and Wes and CT are all on this new season too. Combine that with some of the new guys, and John better have a hell of a partner to make it to the final, because from what I've seen, most of the guys all look tough. Regardless, I just want some physicality back in th game.
