Less than zero had the potential to be way better than it was.

While that trailer hit some feels, I kinda don't want to see the curtain pulled back. Not too much. While the movies are iconic for those growing up in that era, I didn't really follow their offscreen antics too much.

Until they did something stupid like hooking up with 16 yr old girls at the DNC convention.

It's weird how some grew up and out of their 'fame' yet didn't train wreck their lives. While other young actors couldn't cope & destroyed their lives.

Also, you could say that the two that destroyed themselves the worst (Lowe and RDJ) have since achieved even higher highs.

Well he has long stated he got sober early on because he realized this wasn't working.... I mean, he was basically method acting in St. Elmo's Fire....he WAS that guy.

I was in college during the brat pack prime, and my then girlfriend/now wife was in high school and then college during that era, so we saw pretty much all of the movies, even the brat pack-adjacent movies like "Some Kind of Wonderful", "No Small Affair" and "Ferris Bueller".

Back then (and even now), I still find it funny how HALF of the main cast of "St. Elmo's Fire" (Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy and Emilio Estevez) were supposed to be recent college grads on their own... and just four months earlier they were playing high-school students in "The Breakfast Club".

Oh, and I remember a bachelor party in 1989 where the Rob Lowe sex-tape was playing on the VCR...

Up late last night / this morning for work, and was able to watch it. It was well done and I enjoyed. I re-read the article today, man it makes the author look shitty. The tone of the overall article made the guy seem like a nerd who desperately wanted to be with the cool kids. 80's were a different time, I don't think any article today would have this kind of impact.

Oh my....this is 100% my wheelhouse.

But it makes you feel old.

These were the actors I grew up with....
It does make one feel old, doesn't it?

I always wondered why Emilio's career tapered off.

Will check it out.

Also, I’m not afraid to admit that Rob Lowe was stupidly handsome back then.

Just watched it and thought it was well done. Funny how stupid sh*t really affects you when your young but when you get to be middle aged you look back and say really that was it. Some dick writer makes up a story that basically blacklisted a bunch of young actors. Really glad Andrew McCarthy seemed to get some closer by doing this . This is for Molly and Judd not appearing

Apparently Hughes made SKOW specifically because he wasn't happy with the ending of Pretty in Pink. Both are great, but I prefer SKOW.

Just finished it. I would have never considered Demi Moore or Jon Cryer part of the Brat Pack, but they clearly consider themselves a part.

No mention of Anthony Michael Hall? I think he’s more ‘in’ than the other 2. It was interesting overall. Pretty good.

I liked it overall, but it dragged on a little too long at the end

What? She was the Demi. You don’t have the Brat Pack without her.
Geez man. Are you a youngster?

Strange, this was the very first thing that showed up when I just now opened Hulu. Coincidence?

I still can't get over how much hotter Demi got as she aged out of the "Brat Pack" parts and got into adult dramas post Ghost.

She was stunningly beautiful on screen from about 1990-1996.
