This looks really interesting. As a child of the 80's I watched all of these movies that all of the brat pack actors were in. Still today a bunch of them are still A listers in Hollywood. It looks really interesting. Maybe some of them didn't get along, or hated the Brat Pack nickname. Andrew McCarthy is the director and it will be on Hulu. I am sure there is going to be a lot of nostalgic interest in this.

It could be interesting . Or it could be cloying and obnoxious. I’ll probably check it out for fun. I was a older than the target audience in the 80’s, but my wife and I are huge movie buffs and
would go see almost everything at theaters.

Back during the height of that era, Tom Cruise did an interview, I think with Playboy Magazine and made it a point to talk about how he was not a member of the "Brat Pack". He wanted no part of it.

Because she is an insufferable liberal blowhard.

I don't know about Judd Nelson....

hm, yeah I'll likely watch it - looks like they're not taking themselves too seriously with a lot of hand wringing angst

I will watch this, 100%.

A bunch of them?

I mean, several for sure:

Robert Downey, Jr.
Rob Lowe
James Spader

I'd say those three are arguably still considered A Lister level. Demi Moore is arguable as well.

And their influence obviously still lingers throughout pop culture.

Several/A bunch...to me those are close enough to meaning the same thing. It's subjective.

I agree. I took SG's comment to be that there were not a bunch, and I tried to dispute that.

Her being a liberal has nothing to do with her being insufferable.

She didn’t have to act to play “Claire” in The Breakfast Club.

that looks good - i'm intrigued by Emilio. I have always been a McCarthy fan, and it looks pretty good.

In. Looks great. I always did like those actors. St. Elmo's Fire was a cool movie way back then.

But it makes you feel old.

These were the actors I grew up with....

As an adult and parent, it’s now infuriating.

How the hell did Rob Lowe's character graduate from Georgetown in the 80s and end up not being able to keep a job?
