Well then. That ending was quite a mess

Lots of "oh shite" moments tonight.
Lamplighter on fiya.
Church crazy is crazy (Deep is sooooo desperate to be re-accepted he's going to swallow that hook and enjoy it being set, A-Train though...)
Maeve with some nuts.
Super parents.
Billy... damn.
mindblown.gif ;)

God damn that ending
Pretty ham fisted social commentary with homelander and stormfront referring to super villains flooding across our border but whatever.
Amazing episode, and it’s a bummer there’s only 3 left.

At least Fat Neil finally made it out of Greendale

Yeah they were going all out with the right wing stuff and parallelisms
I don’t think it’s that girl we saw from the Grove facility. Last we saw she hijacked a car and was driving off. I don’t think she’d want to work for Vought. It’s possible she got caught but how would they even her to even do it? She seems quite powerful.
Also why would she only explode people’s heads? The first time we saw her, she exploded the full body of the guard. Whoever this person is, seems to only want to blow up people’s heads.

So that ending totally sets them up to blame a “super terrorist” to push their “more supes” agenda.
And man, Daddy Homelander and Mommy Stormfront is going to backfire so bad.

That’s what whoever did it probably wants but it should seem awfully convenient that it also prevents Vought from being completely exposed at the hearing. Unless the average person in that world is a complete idiot it should seem quite fishy.

So did any real characters other than Vogelbaum die in the blood bath?

WTF that ending
And I have to say, I fricking love Homelander during that. You can tell, he's neither frightened or freaked out by it, nor is he down with it. He's legit curious, he now has a new mystery to solve. He's just standing there, watching and looking around, processing it all. Like, hhmmm, that's interesting.
I think this is going to derail, or at least delay, Stormfront's plans; because he has something else he needs to check out.
My question is, is it a Supe, or is it more something like the Keaton Batman film- Joker's plan, cosmetics with a twist? We've been seeing Vaught cosmetics a few episodes now, I wonder if there's a killswitch in the toothpaste, or something like that.

Vought is clearly gonna blame that crazy bald girl from the last episode. The CIA lady was killed by her head exploding in the first episode and that bald girl was locked up when that happened. My guess is either Edgar or the cult leader as the one that did it.

I heard a reference to something like make america safe again. I had to shake my head at that.

Shockwave, a few congressmen/women and their aides, and probably some reporters.

Shockwave popped?
ETA:
Sorry, I thought you meant Stormfront. So many heads exploding at once! I never went back to take inventory.

I do love how The Seven is now The Three. I've liked everything about this show so far, but I still don't like the peanut allergy being what kills someone as badass as Black Noir.
Maybe it just further shows that they're not really superheroes, just normal people injected with or born with Compound V in them, but I think you could have done it differently.
I did like the Jack From Jupiter reference as well
Also do you think that was an homage to The Wire with the "Aim at the king" line from Congresswoman Neuman?

Black Noir is not dead

I thought he was. Maeve kicked the epipen away from him, he keeled over and then wasn't at the congress meeting

That saying has been around for centuries.

Do we know that was her? I just find it odd that this person is only exploding people’s heads. The girl didn’t in the facility.

Is it just me, or does it feel like this latest episode is moving as such a breakneck speed, that it's hard to imagine them doing a third season?
(Though they might be setting up that weird Church/Cult for the third season)
