Or maybe noir does only seven stuff and nothing else and doesn't get distracted

And that in itself would be a reason not to mess around with him... he gets his job done. And his job appears to be to hunt down and kill whoever.

So after seeing a preview for the show during the saints game I'll starting to think they just might actually use Noir to his comic book potential... and I will leave it at that

Yes...seems he dodged the arab terrorist explosion a bit in an earlier episode with superspeed as it only singed one side.

Seems like he has more powers than shown. Hint

To be fair, they have not made it clear exactly what his powers are on the show other than he is strong and can throw hands.

I think, at this point, a lot of us know the spoilers. Wasn't hard to stumble across when trying to get some backstory on the series. My case, don't know the details, only vague general statements (this happens). Given the Stormfront twist as example, they might not go the same exact way, for this very reason. We all hated the book readers smugly spoiling shite on GoT.

Now, back on Noir's powers, it's an interesting concept speaking to his mindset. He's clearly strong as shite (ripping that dude's head apart), and he is durable (as he took the super-terrorist blast in stride). He could have more, but perhaps he prefers hand-to-hand combat over other attacks...
look at Homelander as the opposite. He shoved his fist through that guy's heart, got grossed out by the gore, and started laser-eyeing everyone after that. He's a bit dainty, while maybe Noir likes getting his hands dirty.

Powers are funny- I didn't see Stormfront flying, until she did. Does The Deep do something with actual water (not critters) at the waterpark? I think he does, there's a big surge. Starlight showed she can manipulate electricity when she dimmed the lights in the hotel room.
We're just not sure who all can do what, in this show.

Without looking through this thread, how far into the graphic novels are they and are they deviating a lot from them?

I'm wanting to finish reading them before I start this

Yeah, I'm a little confused when it comes to relative strength.

Obviously, Homelander is supposed to be all-powerful or at least close to it but what about the rest?

Specifically, during the fight between Stormfront and Kimiko's brother when she snapped his wrists, was that because she is that much stronger than him or could he have easily done the same to her and she won by being a better/more experienced fighter? All of the supes seem to have some baseline of super strength.

Its pretty much been its own thing outside of the main characters having the same names and motivations.

I thought the first 3 episodes were pretty mediocre. I thought 4 was one of the best eps of the entire show so far.

"I just got off the phone with Butcher and I think something might be wrong"

"What would make you think that?"

"He was nice"

Friend,

Please go back and read the discussions I have had with the other members of this board. You will see that you have not learned the basis of comprehension. I would like to recommend a book by the name of "Scholastic Success with Reading Comprehension, Grades 1". I think you have a future.

Best wishes,

Starlight probably gonna start flying eventually, using the electricity.

All I wanted was for the readers in the group to be careful about framing a character that first-time viewers may not have come up with. Athos mentioned they gender-swapped the character and in the same sentence said the character was a psycopathic racist. That is confirming that the character is racist. If somebody would have just said "I think this character is racist and this is why" then by all means lets open discussion.

Catching up with the thread late, but for those who remember the GOT threads, I suggest we take a Middle Ground Thread approach here, making it safe for both Maesters and Hodors. Comic talk about events which have already occurred is allowed, but try not to give spoilers about future comic events. I’m a Hodor for this show but don’t mind the extra background info when appropriate.

eta: and I can’t stop laughing about Doppelganger pretending to be Stillwell.

I'm not really concerned about what you've been discussing with other people. I was more concerned with our back and forth where you told me I was wrong, yet you were wrong.

Stop, get some help

Seriously dude....At what point did I ever say Stormfront wasn't racist?
