A-Train, aside from being the catalyst for Hughie in both the books and the series (in both he kills his girlfriend by accident at superspeed), isn't really that big of a deal. He's mostly there to remind people that superheroes are garbage. There's no heart issues, no extra juicing, no race to prove he's the fastest. The show is so far from the comic that there's probably only one or two potentially big reveals that would be spoiled by the books.

Yes speed powers seem almost TOO powerful by how they are usually displayed. I wish they can take a different take sometimes, kinda like they do in Dragonball Z sometimes.

Have somebody like Flash or Atrain move at superspeed to get where they are going but slow down to almost normal to fight.

Otherwise no one could even remotely fight them. Most underrated power

This chick is fricking 38. Maeve is 34 and looks 15 years older than her. That is hard for me to believe.

Eh, she’s fair skinned so at the very least she’s probably taken care of her skin. That tends to net far less wrinkles. She’s a little bit thicker then when I saw her in Fosse/Verdon but she carries it well.

The problem is with speed powers, there needs to be some limits. They should only be able to run super fast for short periods only. i remember in the first season A-train was working out and having to drink 3000. calories an hour. If somewhat grounded in reality, a speedster would look like ghandi after running for extended periods of time. I know, it’s a tv show..

I agree there has to be a limit on the speed power otherwise the character is too overpowered. Limiting the speed to short bursts and/or requiring ridiculous caloric intake is an obvious way to do it. Or give the character heart disease.

It's getting reviewbombed by people really pissed off at the staggered episode format. Seriously, it's at 2.5 stars, and reading the 1 star reviews are all about the same thing - whining about the staggered release.

Interesting - it didn't list it for me, but when I hit play for the series it started up episode 4
