What I wanna know is how does Homelander have a three hour sex romp with Becca but then only lasts 15 seconds with Stillwell.

That's easy, he grew up watching the 1990's awesome spy movie not called "James bond ". Where she creates cold fusion and keeps sexy sciency notes in her bra.
If the sexy science chick from "the saint" wants to bone you... and she's still hot at , like, 53 ish.. you reach climax once you touch her.

He probably couldn’t handle fulfilling his creepy mother fetish for long.

Finished over the weekend & loved it. I could have easily watched another 8 episodes.

It's funny. I had started Banshee for the first time earlier last week. I never even heard of Starr 2 weeks ago and now he's starring in both shows I'm binging. I'm a fan

I'm intrigued by Homelander's final scenes with Butcher. My take is that he didn't rape Becca, and not sure there was a lot of coercion. I think she got starry eyed, and Homelander's account of it is pretty dead-on.

She split over the guilt of what she'd done, and then had to stay gone due to the nature of the pregnancy/child (needed Vought's resources to manage the kid).

I agree. One thing I noticed during that scene was that she seemed excited to see Homelander and shocked to see Billy. If she had been raped you would think it would be the reverse.

I've only watched the first two episodes. I've enjoyed them and realized I'm going to see The Boys in name only. But at least it's good unlike Preacher.

But changing these up makes me sad. As Butcher is only sympathetic if his wife was good. Stillwell was a gamble for me from the get go though.

I was wondering if next season they'll discuss how they are trying to create another hero by using the butcher's wife.

It's a TV show that wants to show gore, you are overthinking it.

Of course I am. Would have been funny to have gore spew out of only his orifices

That would of been good.

Maybe the tissue holding together the outer diamond skin is damageable and it tore apart at the molecular level.

Watched the first 2 episodes. Excellent so far. Interesting premise.

I hope the viewership is there to warrant multiple seasons. It's not your normal spoon-fed content that a lot of users want these days.

There were multiple times during the show where I said to myself, "Yep, this is the guy who created Supernatural."

I really liked the show though. Look forward to season 2.

I completely get the point of the show.

It's obvious that you don't. That wasn't a "test" of her "moral character."

frick. I hope you don't have children. Or parents.

Maybe. I think it should have held together. Would have been a bit more gruesome

They weren't. When Homelander was talking to the doctor Homelander made a comment about how he thought he wasn't supposed to be able to have children because he was a super. The doctor confirmed that the only way people got powers was through giving the serum to infants (and that limitation was also intended so Vought could control the entire process) but that apparently "nature always finds a way".
